          "text": "<p><a href=\"http://www.ingramcontent.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Ingram Content Group (ICG)</strong></a><strong>&#xa0;</strong>is hiring a Shipping Specialist to contribute to our&#xa0;<strong>Lightning Source&#xa0;</strong>team in <strong>Jackson, TN</strong></p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>Provides assistance to the Shipping Lead and Supervisor in the daily operation of the Shipping Department. Tracks/closes priority orders and assists with the resolution of production problems to ensure the Shipping Department meets daily departmental goals for quality, sorting and manifesting. Oversees the effective cross-over between shifts, assisting with training, and along with the Shipping Lead and Supervisor, assists with staffing decisions based on headcount and workload.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Acts as subject matter expert utilizing proficient skills in all Sortation/Packing/Shipping duties</li><li>Works to meet daily departmental goals through interaction with Shipping associates, Shipping Lead and Supervisor</li><li>Coordinates associates with the Shipping Lead and Supervisor to maximize Shipping Department productivity by shifting labor within the department according to workload.<em> </em></li><li>Trains associates are properly and ensures they are following operational procedures in the Shipping Department</li><li>Ensures that Shipping associates are performing required quality checks on all books based on LSI’s quality standards.</li><li>Ensures all TAT orders ship on time</li><li>Verifies count and accuracy of skids.</li><li>Monitors the conveyor line for inbound totes and assigns batches to stations as needed.</li><li>Actively tracks down and closes out TAT as well as priority orders</li><li>Monitors Shipping area workload and provides direction to Associates on work flow and priorities</li><li>Communicates with EDI, IT, CS and Transportation departments on resolving order issues</li><li>Enters and follows up on Lightning Bugs to resolve order or file issues</li><li>Basic knowledge and understanding of the workflow in the Production and Case Departments</li><li>Assists on daily closing out of shipments</li><li>Complete all orders waiting on damages and reworks.</li><li>Monitors Batch summary report for orders in a Sorted or In Packing status.</li><li>Monitors all sort stations for correct packing groups being sorted.</li><li>Maintains Shipping area cleanliness and organization</li><li>Coordinates with Supervisor and Shipping Lead regarding break/lunch schedules and workflow.</li><li>Monitors associate performance and provides feedback to the associate, Shipping Lead and Supervisor</li></ul><p><strong>Other Duties</strong></p><ul><li>Provides backup for trainer and lead.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</strong></p><ul><li>Knowledgeable with DMS, DMS Client, and PKMS systems</li><li>Must possess a proficient understanding of LSI shipping processes.</li><li>Must communicate clearly and effectively.</li><li>Must demonstrate leadership skills.</li><li>Prioritization skills</li><li>Organizational skills</li><li>Problem Solving skills</li><li>Customer Service skills</li><li>Reading comprehension skills up to high school level</li><li>Writing skills up to high school level</li><li>Math skills – basic arithmetic, addition, subtraction</li><li>Attention to detail</li><li>Ability to work safely and adhere to safety guidelines in a manufacturing environment</li><li>Ability to perform repetitive manual tasks</li><li>Ability to work independently or collaborate in a group environment</li><li>Ability to be flexible/multi-task based on workflow demands</li><li>Ability to meet and maintain production standards</li><li>Ability to maintain reasonably reliable attendance</li><li>Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Physical Demands</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift.&#xa0;</li><li>Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 50 lbs. during the assigned shift – 1-25 lbs continuously and 26 to 40 lbs frequently and 41-50 lbs occasionally.</li><li>Ability to push/pull in a manufacturing environment up to 50 lbs to push during the assigned shift – up to 40 lbs frequently and up to 50 occasionally.</li><li>Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift.</li><li>Ability to bend, kneel/squat, twist/turn, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift.</li><li>Ability to work designated 12 hour shift including overtime as required.</li><li>Exposure to wide range of temperatures.</li></ul>",
