The Medical Assistant will play a crucial role in providing clinical and administrative support to our healthcare providers, ensuring the delivery of excellent care to our patients.</p>\n<h2>Essential Duties & Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Facility Engagement</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Act as a community liaison between key stakeholders (nursing, sales, wellness, and leadership)</li>\n <li>Be attentive to the facility's needs and communicate back to the team.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Patient Engagement</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Coordinate care between (specialists, therapy, home health, and other ancillary services)</li>\n <li>Assist with front desk duties, including appointment management, scheduling, and other related duties.</li>\n <li>Monthly outreach with residents/families to assess needs and coordinate care consistent with the provider’s care plan.</li>\n <li>Connect patients with local/regional social support services.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Clinical Functions</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Greet each patient, family member, and staff member with a smile.</li>\n <li>Take vital signs, room patients (if in a clinic), and help prepare them for their visit.</li>\n <li>Coordinate after-visit coordination</li>\n <li>Complete all diagnostic testing</li>\n <li>Manage and complete all quality assurance monitoring.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Outgoing individual who loves interacting with people</li>\n <li>Organized and effective communicator</li>\n <li>Experience working as a medical assistant in a healthcare setting, preferably in a geriatric or senior care environment.</li>\n <li>Proficient in Microsoft Office</li>\n <li>Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Passionate about helping others</li>\n <li>Highly organized</li>\n <li>Willingness to learn and be a part of something great</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We’re thrilled to announce that Curana Health has been named the 147th fastest growing, privately owned company in the nation on Inc. magazine’s prestigious Inc. 5000 list.
