3rd Shift Forklift Operator

The Forklift Operator will be responsible for performing various duties in the warehouse in a fast-paced lean environment, including but not limited to: Receiving and put-away of all inbound receipts. Loading and shipping all outbound pallets. Picking and loading pallets for shuttle to the Ohio Kitchen. Monitoring inventory levels of all items in designated Pick Line support locations, and refilling before inventory is depleted. Drop, move, and put-away quality impacted pallets as directed by Tech Services. Monitor the temperature of all areas of the warehouse and immediately notify a Supervisor if temperatures are out of tolerance. Responsible to keep the warehouse clean, neat, and organized. All moved products must be scanned timely and accurately so inventory records are always current and accurate. Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently) Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies (e.g., pallets, straps, rope.) Safely walk and stand for extended periods of time on a loading dock that has the potential to be below freezing and may become slippery. Safely reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties. Verify and complete required documentation and reports. Adhere to company safety policies Must treat all co-workers with respect and be professional at all times. Safely work in cold weather conditions. Required skills and experience Stand-up and sit-down forklift, electric and manual pallet jack experience. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be able to speak/read/write in English fluently. Good basic math skills. Preferred skills and experience High School Diploma or GED Physical requirements Regularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and arms Frequently required to stand, communicate, and listen Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Able to perform repetitive movements Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)
