We’re seeking enthusiastic and attentive individuals to ensure a safe and enjoyable swim environment for our guests.</p></li><li><p>Adventure Awaits: Explore the stunning Snowshoe Mountain and enjoy all the outdoor activities it has to offer while you work.</p></li><li><p>Make Connections: Meet guests and employees from across the country and around the world and provide them with exceptional hospitality that makes Snowshoe their home away from home.</p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b>Job Responsibilities:</b></h1><ul><li><p>Maintain professional knowledge by having current lifeguard, CPR, basic life support, and AED certifications and regular in-service training.</p></li><li><p>Provides guests with a safe swimming facility by maintaining your zone of protection, making save, and making safety checks as necessary.</p></li><li><p>Serve guests by checking them into the facility and answering questions</p></li><li><p>Maintains professional skills by swimming on a regular basis and working on skills with other lifeguards.</p></li><li><p>Maintains operations by following defined procedures and guidelines, filling out reports, and acting on the situation if there is an incident.</p></li><li><p>Maintains pool appearance by vacuuming the pool, cleaning pool tiles, and keeping the pool deck clean.</p></li><li><p>Maintains lake appearance by raking the beach, setting up/taking down chairs and umbrellas, cleaning inflatables and boats, and inspecting equipment for safety.</p></li><li><p>Maintains appearance of the facilities by cleaning bathrooms, pool deck, rugs, sauna room, beach area, and washing towels.</p></li><li><p>Maintains work area by picking up trash and shoveling snow.</p></li><li><p>Assist guests with launching boats from the beach and provide related information to guests.</p></li><li><p>Provide daily startup and shutdown of the pool and lake facilities.</p></li><li><p>Enforce established guidelines for guest safety and experience.</p></li><li><p>Maintains appearance of areas by raking beach, mowing grass, tending to the landscaping, and keeping the workplace clean and tidy.</p></li><li><p>Lifeguard, CPR, BLS, and AED certifications (On job training will be provided)</p></li></ul><p></p><h1><b>Preferred Experience:</b></h1><p></p><ul><li><p>Lifeguard Certification</p></li><li><p>First Aid/CPR/AED</p></li></ul><p></p><h3><b><i>All Information above is subject to change at any time.  </i></b></h3><h3><b><i>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.</i></b></h3><h3><b><i>Snowshoe is an equal opportunity employer.</i></b></h3>",
