We strive to create welcoming and enjoyable living environments for all residents, ultimately driving income growth for property owners.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>JOB SUMMARY</strong></p><p>The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and other duties to ensure the preservation and upkeep of the building, fixtures, and residential spaces.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>CLASSIFICATION: </strong>Part-time, Hourly/Non-Exempt</p><p><br></p><p><strong>SHIFT: </strong>Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9 am - 5pm&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>COMPENSATION:</strong> $18-$22 per hour (position eligible for monthly commissions, quarterly bonuses, and discounted housing)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ol><li>Respond to resident/management service requests for occupied and vacant rental units.</li><li>Repair/replace appliances, plumbing, and air conditioning/heating/electrical systems as needed.</li><li>Repair/replace apartment materials and perform maintenance requests.</li><li>Identify and perform routine preventative maintenance assignments.</li><li>Inspect and repair vacant units and prepare for move-ins.</li><li>Work on-call as scheduled 24/7, weekend shifts, and overtime as necessary and pre-approved by the Maintenance Supervisor or Property Manager.</li><li>Perform tasks and operate machinery in a safe manner and in compliance with safety procedures.</li><li>Complete grounds work, such as grounds pick up, sweeping, and light landscaping.</li><li>Perform other duties as requested to support property operations.</li></ol>",
