Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF): qualifying employer We provide weekly clinical supervision aimed at promoting the effective accumulation of clinical hours. This structured support is designed to enhance professional development and ensure a comprehensive understanding of clinical practices. Summary Description : The Partners-In-Parenting Program (PIP) Clinician is responsible for providing clinical services to children and families involved in the Westchester County child welfare system. These clinical services will be conducted in the family’s home, child’s school, or other community locations. The program is designed to address and prevent child abuse and neglect in families at high risk. Services will focus on addressing mental health needs, improving functioning, and assisting the family in supporting the individual’s mental health needs. Evidence-based practices will be utilized to address the risk of abuse and neglect, prevent higher levels of care such as psychiatric hospitalizations and foster care placements, and expedite the reunification process. Services are delivered in a trauma-informed, culturally and linguistically competent manner. The Clinician will support recovery by providing services that reflect our deeply held values that include the recognition of individual rights of self-determination, choice, shared decision-making, and collaboration. When possible, the clinician will utilize evidence-based practices, always embracing a trauma-informed and person-centered approach. Responsibilities: Provide direct clinical services to approximately 14-20 individuals each month, which may include, but are not limited to, outreach, assessment and treatment planning, family sessions, crisis counseling and intervention, and community consultation and education. Coordinate treatment with community agencies/service providers and participate in meetings as needed. Ability to work with families during after-school hours. Participate in program development, training programs, and/or meetings as designated by Program Director. Maintain up-to-date and complete case records, including documentation, and provide written reports and statistics as required. Complete the required number of client contacts per month. Provide crisis intervention as needed and after hours on a rotating basis. Follow the established agency policies and procedures and meet all guidelines set forth by the Department of Social Services contract and regulatory bodies. Due to the nature of the program have the ability to be flexible with working hours. Maintain appropriate professional standards. Other designated or related duties. Competencies: Knowledge of diagnoses and symptomatology Familiarity with Westchester community resources Effective client engagement skills Ability to work independently and efficiently Teamwork and the ability to be flexible Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Timely and thorough documentation as per program guidance Effective collaboration with community agencies, including DSS Effective rapport and engagement building with clients Requirements: The candidate must hold one of the following New York State licenses: LMSW, LMHC, LCSW or LMFT. Eligible limited permit holders will be considered. Bilingual preferred (Spanish). Must be able to work hours that facilitate meetings with families during after school hours. Must have a valid Driver’s License and a driving record that is satisfactory to our insurance carrier. The Clinician will be using agency vehicles and is responsible for adhering to the Agency Driver Policy. Must maintain current New York State Defensive Driving certification. Due to the nature of the program, must have the ability to be flexible with working hours. Strong computer knowledge: typing, communication tools, scheduling tools and web browsers. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and database management systems. Fluency in English (Reading, Writing, Speaking). Bilingual English/Spanish helpful. Must be cleared and maintain clearance by applicable regulatory clearances as required.   Legally eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship. Special Considerations : Hours per week, reporting structure, and location are subject to change per program needs. M andated Reporter: This is a Mandated Reporter position. The NYS Justice Center legislation defines anyone who has regular and substantial contact with any person with special needs as a “custodian” under the law and, therefore, a mandated reporter.
