    "description": "<p><u><strong>Job Overview</strong></u><br />\r\nResponsible for providing excellent hospitality, awesome service, craveable food and/or beverage in a fun, clean atmosphere to the Customer according to the standards and expectations.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><u><strong>Primary Responsibilities</strong></u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Live by a servant leadership philosophy to always serve others first.</li>\r\n\t<li>Understand, and comply with:</li>\r\n\t<li>All Company policies, procedures, and operating standards.</li>\r\n\t<li>All federal/state/local laws and ordinances.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain energy, enthusiasm, passion and P.R.I.D.E. throughout the shift.</li>\r\n\t<li>Provide every Customer with an awesome first, next and last great experience.</li>\r\n\t<li>Always have a &#8220;do whatever it takes&#8221; personality.</li>\r\n\t<li>Smile and welcome all Customers you encounter.</li>\r\n\t<li>Address Customers by name; shake their hand if appropriate.</li>\r\n\t<li>Involve Customer in conversations throughout their entire experience.</li>\r\n\t<li>Accommodate and meet special needs of Customers (senior citizens, large parties, business meetings, etc.).</li>\r\n\t<li>Utilize genuine salesmanship techniques during Customer interactions.</li>\r\n\t<li>Possess an extensive knowledge of all food, serious seafood, Chalkboard specials and beverage selections, including a deep understanding of the appropriate questions to ask when a Customer orders a particular food or beverage item.</li>\r\n\t<li>Place accurate orders using the POS.</li>\r\n\t<li>Deliver food/beverages to Customers with a sense of urgency, delivering hot food hot, cold food cold; pre-bus as needed.</li>\r\n\t<li>Manage the bar during each shift as though it were your own business.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain a clean and organized bar top, storage areas, and service bar station.</li>\r\n\t<li>Adhere to a responsible beverage service requirements.</li>\r\n\t<li>Verify all Customers that purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age.</li>\r\n\t<li>Answer the telephone in a friendly, upbeat manner and with a smile on your face.</li>\r\n\t<li>Take and manage all To Go orders.</li>\r\n\t<li>Adhere to cash handling policies.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform secondary responsibilities.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist Servers by running drinks to their tables.</li>\r\n\t<li>Help the Host by encouraging Customers to come sit in the bar.</li>\r\n\t<li>Assist other Bartenders by stocking glassware, ice, garnishes, etc.</li>\r\n\t<li>Complete assigned opening, ongoing, and closing sidework.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintain a safe, sanitary, and secure environment at all times.</li>\r\n\t<li>Notify a Manager of all Customer complaints.</li>\r\n\t<li>Remain calm at all times.</li>\r\n\t<li>Perform any other tasks or duties as assigned by a Manager.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<u><strong>Required Skills</strong></u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>High school degree or GED preferred.</li>\r\n\t<li>1 to 3 years&#8217; experience bartending in Food and Beverage environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must be at least the minimum age required to serve alcohol as determined by applicable state law.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to free-pour to recipe and specification; extensive knowledge of beer, wine and liquor.</li>\r\n\t<li>Good reading, writing, mathematical and communication skills.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to interact professionally with other Customers and Team Members.</li>\r\n\t<li>Able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.</li>\r\n\t<li>Good judgment and decision making abilities.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<u><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></u></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Must be able to spend 100% of working time standing, walking, and reaching.</li>\r\n\t<li>Pushing, pulling and lifting objects from a lower to higher position or moving objects horizontally, from position to position.</li>\r\n\t<li>Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling while walking, standing or crouching in narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces.</li>\r\n\t<li>Climbing and ascending or descending ladders, stairs, and ramps.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must be able to carry loads greater than 50 pounds frequently.</li>\r\n\t<li>Must be able to communicate clearly with our Customer in the primary language of the restaurant.</li>\r\n\t<li>Hearing sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.</li>\r\n\t<li>Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.</li>\r\n</ul>",
