The Developer Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the Developer and Junior Developer in the design and development process of our unique fashion pieces. This position offers a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about fashion and streetwear culture to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and creative environment.</p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Developer Assistant </span></span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Duties/Responsibilities:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Developer and Junior Developer in translating designs and concepts into tangible products.</li>\n<li>Support in the creation and management of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and initial cost estimates.</li>\n<li>Maintain and update the development Work-In-Progress (WIP) and sample status.</li>\n<li>Manage sample development stages, including sourcing, fabric selection, strike-offs, lab dips, and hand-offs.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with design and production teams to ensure timely completion of projects.</li>\n<li>Help establish relationships with suppliers and manufacturers for material sourcing, adhering to sustainability guidelines.</li>\n<li>Assist in working within budget constraints to optimize production costs without compromising quality.</li>\n<li>Stay updated with industry trends and technologies to support product and process improvements.</li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.</li>\n<li>Responsible for following standard operating procedures for all development operations and utilizing development tools including but not limited to ERP and PLM.</li>\n<li>Provide Developer team assistance with invoicing, purchase orders, shipments and other operational tasks.</li>\n<li>Maintain detailed records of the development process.</li>\n<li>Stay true to brand values by being conscientious of waste.</li>\n<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em> </em></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Required Skills/Abilities:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Some experience or coursework in the fashion industry, preferably with luxury or streetwear brands.</li>\n<li>Basic knowledge of the cut/sew process, screen-printing, and manufacturing processes.</li>\n<li>Interest in sustainability and ethical sourcing practices is a plus.</li>\n<li>Good project management and organizational skills.</li>\n<li>Creative mindset with a passion for fashion and streetwear culture.</li>\n<li>Strong communication and teamwork abilities.</li>\n<li>Proficiency in relevant software and tools for product development (PLM experience preferred).</li>\n<li>Ability to act with integrity and professionalism.</li>\n<li>Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Education and Experience:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Development, or a related field, or relevant coursework or work experience.</li>\n<li>2-3 years of work experience in the fashion industry.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Physical Requirements:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comfortable standing for long periods, physically mobile; can lift up to 25 pounds.</li>\n<li>Some travel to various vendors may be required.</li>\n<li>Willingness to work long days when needed.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\"><em>Job Type:</em></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full time</li>\n<li>Benefits</li>\n<li>PTO</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>",
