We collaborate to deliver best-in-class services and care, and we’re looking for a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Registered Nurse </span>to join us in our mission.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Overview</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Our Primary Care team is seeking a <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Registered Nurse to work in our clinic on a full-time basis for a 13-month term maternity leave contract</span>. This Registered Nurse will act as a member of an inter-professional primary care team, which includes physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, administrative staff, and allied health professionals.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment, and education, under the supervision of a physician or nurse practitioner;</li>\n<li>Perform routine procedures, such as administering medications, immunizations, allergy shots, ear irrigation, dressing changes, and specimen collection;</li>\n<li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans;</li>\n<li>Document patient encounters accurately and promptly in electronic medical records;</li>\n<li>Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes</li>\n<li>Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n<li>Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario;</li>\n<li>3-5 years of nursing experience, preferably in a community or primary health care setting;</li>\n<li>Experience using a medical software program, preferably PSS, is an asset;</li>\n<li>Experience working with culturally diverse populations such as newcomers and refugees;</li>\n<li>Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills;</li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team;</li>\n<li>Fluency in English and French preferred; other languages are assets;</li>\n<li>Proficiency in the use of computers and electronic medical records;</li>\n<li>Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary: </span>$39.72 – $46.73 per hour (commensurate with experience).</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What we Offer</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>The Centre offers excellent employee benefits including generous leaves as well as Extended Health &amp; Dental coverage.</li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Opportunities for professional development.</li>\n<li>The Centre participates in the Healthcare of Ontario (HOOPP) pension plan.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Additional Information</span></p>\n<p>For more information on our Centre visit <a href=\"http://www.seochc.on.ca/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">www.seochc.on.ca</a>.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Please apply directly with your resume and a cover letter.
