Paid time off is earned according to the local policy and increases with the length of employment.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Click HERE to discover how we empower team members to grow, thrive, and advance in their careers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>WE LOVE OUR WORK.</h2>\n<strong>What does Hollywood Casino & Hotel have to offer?</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Day 1 medical, dental, & vision benefits!</li>\n <li>Uber benefit for nearby metro stops.</li>\n <li>Recognition programs with cash rewards, gift cards, & more.</li>\n <li>Tuition Reimbursement, Lindenwood University Discounts, & Diversity Scholarship for Team Member’s children.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>As a <strong>Retail Clerk</strong> you will,</p>\n<p><em>Pay: $15.00 per hour | Shift: Wednesday- Sunday</em></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Facilitate retail sales, including customer assistance and follow-up.</li>\n <li>Encourage and reinforce customer decisions to increase average dollar sale and units sold per transaction.</li>\n <li>Stock and maintain the appearance of sales floor and merchandise displays.</li>\n <li>Operate electronic cash register and ticketing system to accurately and immediately account for payment transactions.</li>\n <li>Follow established regulations, guidelines and procedures related to the sale of alcohol and or tobacco.</li>\n <li>Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>BRING US YOUR BEST.</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>\n <li>21 years of age, or older.</li>\n <li>Previous customer service experience in a high volume operation preferred.</li>\n <li>Read, write, speak and understand English.</li>\n <li>Excellent customer service/communication skills.</li>\n <li>Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.</li>\n <li>Must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy.</li>\n <li>Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation.</li>\n <li>Must be able to respond to visual and oral cues.</li>\n <li>Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items (i.e., flatware, plates, cups, glasses), bend, stoop and twist while carrying retail stock to and from supply areas; able to reach across tables; able to stand and walk for up to four hours; able to use hand motions when cleaning.</li>\n <li>Must be able to tolerate industry standard chemicals used for cleaning and sanitizing.</li>\n <li>Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights.</li>\n <li>Able to work at a fast pace in an often crowded/noisy environment.</li>\n <li>Must be able to maintain a neat, well-groomed, professional appearance and uphold the company appearance standards.</li>\n <li>Must maintain good posture and poise throughout shift.</li>\n <li>Physically mobile with reasonable accommodations including ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs., and the ability to push, pull, reach, bend, twist, stoop, stack, crouch, kneel and balance when performing job duties in varying work areas such as confined spaces.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>STAY IN THE GAME.
