We are guided and united by our Group Purpose of “giving our world more smiles.” Visit: https://www.fujifilm.com/us/en/about/region/careers</p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p><strong>Major Accountabilities:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Performs routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance of the site’s heating, ventilation, air condition and refrigeration systems and equipment with limited supervision</li>\n <li>Reports complex HVAC issues to senior technicians, management, or plant engineering</li>\n <li>Oversees the installation of equipment, as required</li>\n <li>Leads small projects related to HVAC systems and cold rooms</li>\n <li>Provides recommendations to management to develop HVAC maintenance schedules</li>\n <li>Mentors or provides training to HVAC technicians</li>\n <li>Provides input to develop maintenance and repair plans for HVAC systems and equipment, including cold-rooms</li>\n <li>Follows all safety protocols and guidelines</li>\n <li>Routinely tests and certifies HEPA filters to prescribed schedule</li>\n <li>Assists with maintaining contracts with external vendors, as needed</li>\n <li>Conducts work adhering to system air balancing activities under the guidance of senior technicians or management</li>\n <li>Assists site functions to qualify and maintain production ventilation and equipment</li>\n <li>Interacts with vendors or other departments, contractors, and disciplines to schedule repairs, maintenance, etc.</li>\n <li>Completes specialized training programs for HVAC systems</li>\n <li>Works with Building Management Systems (BMS) monitoring program to trend and review specific data relating to HVAC systems</li>\n <li>Collaborates cross-functionally with Utilities, Plant Engineering, and other support groups</li>\n <li>Assists with revising and developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), as needed</li>\n <li>Supports site operations and emergency work orders during off-hours, as needed</li>\n <li>Performs other duties, as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Be proficient in basic maintenance crafts such as pipefitting, soldiering, refrigerant recovery</li>\n <li>Operate utility equipment such as chillers, air handling units, freezers, cold rooms, incubators and stability chambers</li>\n <li>Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and building automation systems</li>\n <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Knowledge of regulations and codes for HVAC work</li>\n <li>Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics</li>\n <li>Effective communication, both written and oral</li>\n <li>Ability to lift and move heavy equipment</li>\n <li>Knowledge of system air balancing activities required for clean room environments and pressure cascade.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills and Certifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma/GED</li>\n <li>2-4 years of experience in HVAC maintenance and repairs</li>\n <li>Completion of an apprenticeship program or vocational training in HVAC</li>\n <li>Universal Refrigerant Recovery Certification (EPA 608 Certification)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Skills and Certifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Associate degree in mechanical, electrical, applied engineering or another relevant field</li>\n <li>Prior experience with industrial HVAC systems</li>\n <li>Prior experience working in a GMP manufacturing environment</li>\n <li>Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or equivalent work order management experience</li>\n <li>Experience with troubleshooting and repairing refrigerant systems, and testing and certifying HEPA filters</li>\n <li>HVAC/Refrigeration Certification</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Will work in environment which may necessitate respiratory protection.</li>\n <li>May work in Mechanical/Production spaces that may require hearing protection and enrollment in a hearing conservation program.</li>\n <li>Will work in environment operating a motor vehicle or Powered Industrial Truck. </li>\n <li>Ability to discern audible cues</li>\n <li>Ability to inspect or perform a task with 20/20 corrected vision, visual acuity, including distinguishing color.</li>\n <li>Ability to ascend or descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, etc.</li>\n <li>Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. 12 hours</li>\n <li>Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time. 12 hours</li>\n <li>Ability to conduct activities using repetitive motions that include writs, hands and/or fingers.</li>\n <li>Ability to conduct work that includes moving objects up to X pounds.
