This role supports the Shop Manager and Fleet Manager by executing scheduled maintenance, identifying mechanical issues, completing repairs, and accurately documenting all work performed.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES</span></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Fleet Vehicle Maintenance &amp; Repair</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on:\n<ul>\n<li>UTVs (Kawasaki Teryx , Honda Pioneer)</li>\n<li>Buses and shuttle buses</li>\n<li>Passenger vans and gear trucks</li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li>Carry out preventative maintenance tasks as directed by the Shop Manager and Fleet Manager.</li>\n<li>Complete daily and weekly vehicle checks and accurately document work performed using provided maintenance logs.</li>\n<li>Track maintenance and repairs by individual vehicle and report findings, concerns, or recurring issues to the Shop Manager or Fleet Manager.</li>\n<li>Immediately report any safety or performance concerns affecting vehicle operation.</li>\n<li>Assist with emergency roadside repairs.</li>\n<li>Maintain clear communication with the Shop Manager or Fleet Manager regarding vehicle condition and availability.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Facilities, Property &amp; Infrastructure Maintenance</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform general maintenance and minor repairs for company properties, offices, warehouses, and employee housing in Haines and Skagway as assigned.</li>\n<li>Assist with seasonal setup and breakdown of operational infrastructure, including bathroom trailers and housing.</li>\n<li>Support road, yard, and site maintenance projects as needed.</li>\n<li>Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety standards in shop and work areas.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Seasonal &amp; Operational Support</span></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Travel between Haines and Skagway as-needed to support fleet and facility maintenance.</li>\n<li>Assist with end-of-season shutdown of company housing and equipment in Skagway.</li>\n<li>On rare occasions, assist with gear truck driving or operational support as directed.</li>\n<li>Assist with additional projects or operational needs as assigned by Operations, the Shop Manager, or Fleet Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">EMPLOYMENT DISCLAIMER</span></span></p>\n<p>This job description outlines the general responsibilities and expectations of the position and may be modified based on operational needs.
