Join our team and put your expertise to work across a variety of government facilities — one site per day, no bouncing between multiple stops in a single shift.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Floor Care Technician experienced in:</p>\n<ul>\n <li><p>Stripping and waxing floors</p></li>\n <li><p>Buffing and burnishing</p></li>\n <li><p>Polishing</p></li>\n <li><p>Carpet cleaning and extraction</p></li>\n <li><p>General floor maintenance</p></li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You Will Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Proficient in performing various types of floor care work including but not limited to: stripping/refinishing hard surface floors, carpet care/extraction, and operating highly-specialized floor care equipment.</li>\n <li>Inspect assigned area while performing duties and after work has been completed to verify that all work has been done in compliance with site-specific procedures and client’s Scope of Work (SOW).</li>\n <li>Ensure all supplies are stocked and available, equipment is clean and in good operating order, and/or report malfunctioning equipment in a timely manner.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What It Takes To Be Successful</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>1+ yr. floor technician experience is preferred</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver's license </li>\n <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred)</li>\n <li>Extensive floor care product knowledge</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of multiple hard floor surfaces (marble, granite, VCT, etc.)</li>\n <li>Working knowledge of carpet cleaning procedures (shampooing, extracting, bonneting)</li>\n <li>Ability to perform window cleaning and power washing duties</li>\n <li>Proficient verbal / written communication skills (Spanish a plus)</li>\n <li>Planning / scheduling, problem solving</li>\n <li>Time management skills</li>\n <li>Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, delegate and follow-up</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Covid-19 vaccination requirements may vary by client site. </strong></p>\n<h2>Why You Will Love It Here</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>A friendly, respectful, energetic corporate culture that will allow you to thrive</li>\n <li>Work in an environment where you can see the difference you make daily!</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</li>\n <li>Company vehicle provided – no wear and tear on your personal car</li>\n <li>Consistent Monday–Friday schedule – weekends off</li>\n <li>Independent work environment – take ownership of each site </li>\n <li>Safe harbor 401(k) with company matching (if applicable) </li>\n</ul>",
