Manage user access, configure system parameters, establish storage logic rules, and optimize systemic workflows.</p>\n<p>-  <strong>Data Integrity & Reconciliation:</strong> Conduct regular database audits, analyze transactional histories via SQL, and lead systemic reconciliation of inventory discrepancies between the WMS and ERP systems.</p>\n<p>-  <strong>Hardware & Edge Device Management:</strong> Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot warehouse hardware endpoints, including RF scanners, industrial barcode printers, pick-to-light systems, and vehicle-mounted terminals.</p>\n<p>-  <strong>Integration & Data Flow Monitoring:</strong> Monitor and troubleshoot EDI, API, and flat-file data exchanges between the WMS, ERP, and external transportation management systems (TMS) to ensure seamless communication.</p>\n<p>-  <strong>Inbound/Outbound Logic Optimization:</strong> Configure and maintain system logic for receiving, put-away paths, wave picking strategies, replenishment cycles, and shipping documentation generation.</p>\n<p>-  <strong>Technical Support & Incident Management:</strong> Act as the Tier 2/3 technical escalation point for application errors, hardware connectivity issues, and system bottlenecks on the operations floor.</p>\n<p>-  <strong>User Enablement & Documentation:</strong> Develop technical training materials, document system configuration changes, and conduct onboarding for super-users on WMS functionality.</p>\n<p>-  <strong>Continuous Improvement & Release Testing:</strong> Partner with corporate IT and operations leadership to test software patches, validate upgrades in a sandbox environment, and implement system enhancements.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>-  <strong>Education:</strong> Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), or Supply Chain Technology (or equivalent hands-on technical experience).</p>\n<p>-  <strong>Experience:</strong> 1–3 years of experience in an IT application support, systems analyst, or technical super-user role directly supporting a WMS environment.</p>\n<p>-  <strong>Technical Skills:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting enterprise application software.</li>\n <li>Foundational knowledge of <strong>SQL</strong> for data querying, analysis, and reporting.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with hardware/software interfacing, including device configuration and thermal printing protocols (ZPL/EPL).</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>-<strong> Systemic Problem Solving:</strong> Strong analytical skills with the ability to trace physical operational issues back to underlying software logic or data bottlenecks.</p>\n<p>-  <strong>Cross-Functional Communication:</strong> Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear instructions for warehouse personnel and translate operational needs into technical specifications for development teams.</p>\n<p>-  <strong>Data-Driven Mindset:</strong> High attention to detail regarding transactional accuracy and database cleanliness.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<p>-  Technical mastery of Tier 1 or Tier 2 WMS platforms (e.g., Manhattan Associates, Blue Yonder/JDA, SAP EWM, HighJump/Körber).</p>\n<p>-  Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms (e.g., SOTI MobiControl) for managing ruggedized RF scanners.</p>\n<p>-  Basic understanding of network infrastructure (TCP/IP, wireless access points troubleshooting in an industrial setting).</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Piston Automotive, part of the Piston Group family of companies, is an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace that values the unique contributions of every employee.
