Quanta’s focus on the utility industry and HBK’s focus on constructability in our designs has made our integration into the Quanta family of companies seamless.</p>\n<h2>About this Role</h2>\n<p>HBK Engineering is seeking a Senior Civil Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) for our Chicago, Denver, Philadelphia, Norristown or Oak Brook office. This position is responsible for day-to-day management and development of direct report team members while ensuring delivery and execution of project work. This senior role involves directing and coordinating technical activities related to project execution and delivery, requiring a thorough understanding of both technical and financial aspects of HBK's work. The position may specialize in a sub-field within their area of expertise to align with long-term industry trends while maintaining technical competency to train and monitor team members in their duties.</p>\n<h2>What You'll Do</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Manage and develop direct report team members through day-to-day oversight and professional development</li>\n <li>Direct and coordinate technical activities related to project execution and delivery</li>\n <li>Independently apply extensive and diversified knowledge of principles and practices in broad areas of assignments and related fields</li>\n <li>Use advanced techniques in modification or extension of theories and practices to complete assignments</li>\n <li>Work on major projects or several projects of moderate scope with complex features</li>\n <li>Review complete project documents for conformity and quality assurance</li>\n <li>Develop new techniques and/or improved processes, materials, or products</li>\n <li>Supervise all staff necessary to complete assignments</li>\n <li>Review and approve scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments</li>\n <li>Facilitate formation of project teams and mediate conflict between team members</li>\n <li>Oversee, evaluate, and mentor direct reports in day-to-day execution of assigned projects and organizational responsibilities</li>\n <li>Maintain regular one-on-one meetings with all direct reports on weekly or bi-weekly basis</li>\n <li>Train and mentor team members within their teams</li>\n <li>Complete timesheets in a timely and accurate manner</li>\n <li>Advise in development of Project Proposals and RFP responses</li>\n <li>Anticipate technical and constructability project challenges and minimize downstream project risk</li>\n <li>Monitor that all work is performed under contract or gain approval for work outside standard contract sequence</li>\n <li>Address concerns that may affect safety, budget, deadlines, or clients adversely</li>\n <li>Establish positive relations within project teams and with supporting groups within the company</li>\n <li>Take leadership roles in company-sponsored events and HBK Impact programs</li>\n <li>Drive continuous improvement and innovation across the organization</li>\n <li>Represent the organization in communications and conferences pertaining to broad aspects of engineering assignments.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What You'll Bring</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related degree from an ABET-accredited program</li>\n <li>Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required</li>\n <li>Typically 10+ years of engineering experience</li>\n <li>Expert knowledge in standard engineering techniques and procedures</li>\n <li>Advanced oral and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Understanding of client standards, guidelines, systems, and equipment</li>\n <li>Understanding of national standards and guidelines</li>\n <li>Understanding of safe work practices in both office and field environments</li>\n <li>Understanding of employee policies and appropriate office conduct</li>\n <li>Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite)</li>\n <li>Strong proficiency in Engineering Design Programs (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)</li>\n <li>Ability to manage variety of tasks in highly organized manner within collaborative team environment</li>\n <li>Experience leading discipline design for projects and delegating tasks to team members</li>\n <li>Ability to perform quality reviews of project work and engineering documents and standards</li>\n <li>Attention to detail, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills</li>\n <li>Understanding of individual project scopes and deliverable
