    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Shimmick is seeking a highly talented <strong>Superintendent</strong> based in the Seattle area to support civil water/wastewater infrastructure projects in the Pacific Northwest. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>At Shimmick, we are problem solvers. We work hard together—and with our clients—to deliver high-quality projects that are on time, on budget and beyond expectations.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Ensure the safety of project craft and the care of company assets.</li>\n <li>Develop and implement plans for the construction of heavy civil infrastructure within budget, schedule, quality, and environmental criteria.</li>\n <li>Leads, directs and manages the entire direction of construction and related activities within assigned area of responsibility, which may be a single area, multi-area or a multi-discipline construction project.</li>\n <li>Train and develop craft workforce and build a highly effective team.</li>\n <li>Maintain a professional working relationship with client representatives for day to day activities and long term operations.</li>\n <li>Communicates changes or modifications of jobsite activities within assigned area of operations and adjusts plans as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Minimum Requirements:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma/GED + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.</li>\n <li>Experience directing the operations of craft personnel and equipment on Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment construction projects.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience managing mechanical, electrical, and S/W/MBE subcontractors.</li>\n <li>Current OSHA 10.</li>\n <li>Must be detail oriented, thorough, well organized and effectively manage time.</li>\n <li>Ability to work in a high-paced environment with a sense of urgency.</li>\n <li>Strong organizational skills – ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.</li>\n <li>Consultative, service-oriented mindset, and collaborative problem-solving skills.</li>\n <li> </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Additional Information:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.</li>\n <li>This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>The salary range for this position is between $150,000 - $190,000 per year depending on experience and/or education. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Shimmick offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and financial future.
