    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>Edgewater is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to support a major national laboratory. You will provide users with interactive issue troubleshooting, work with application and system supporters, and perform computer builds, upgrades, and maintenance. To accomplish this, you will need two years’ experience providing server/desktop system administrative support with Windows desktop/server operating systems and knowledge of, and desire to follow IT Operations best practices and procedures such as issue management and incident response.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide users with interactive issue troubleshooting in a complex computing hardware and software environment</li>\n <li>Monitor user issue tickets through to resolution by other support teams and document resolutions in a knowledge base</li>\n <li>Work with application and system supporters to identify advanced solutions to user issues</li>\n <li>Perform computer builds, upgrades, maintenance, and diskless/disk full/VDI support</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>BS/BA Computer Science related degree or in lieu of degree 6 years of related experience</li>\n <li>DOE Q Clearance to Start or DoD Top Secret with Reciprocity</li>\n <li>Must be US Citizen</li>\n <li>100% Onsite support, with potential On Call support</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Required Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Windows System Administration in a corporate environment, minimum of 2 years</li>\n <li>Experience with computer desktop builds/rebuilds for networked and standalone environments</li>\n <li>Ability to research, assemble, and evaluate information or data regarding industry practices or applicable regulatory changes and recommend sound, practical solutions to complex issues</li>\n <li>Ability to create and maintain process and procedure documentation, to include but not limited to user instructions, job aides, checklists, etc.</li>\n <li>Experience in adherence to policies, such as Cyber Security, Information Protection, Safety and Security policies for the work performed.</li>\n <li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Desired Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Familiarity of supporting classified computing</li>\n <li>Organized individual with self-drive to complete tasks</li>\n <li>Customer service focused individual</li>\n <li>Experience with Service NOW or equivalent Ticketing System</li>\n <li>Familiar with the maintenance and operation of CAD Software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Siemens Xpedition, and CREO</li>\n <li>Familiar with the maintenance and operation of VMware and Virtual Machine environments</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>About Us: </strong></p>\n<p>Edgewater Federal Solutions is a privately held government contracting firm located in Frederick, MD.
