Manages department performance measures and visual controls. Focuses on daily operations</li><li>Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results in all areas. Works to continuously improve in all areas. Present ideas for improvement and information accurately and clearly in both oral and written form&nbsp;</li><li>Oversees CNC department staff to verify “best practices” are being followed&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Identifies, analyzes, and acts to correct bottlenecks, product defect rates, safety hazards, tool, and equipment problems, Councils, motivates, and instructs Operators and/or Set Up personnel in quality standards, machine operations, and critical documentation. Provides on-the-floor training for new employees as needed and works closely with the Operators and/or Set Up employees</li><li>Ensures that employees adhere to schedules and customer service requirements.
