    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><p><strong><u>THE ROLE:</u></strong></p><table cellspacing=\"0\" cellpadding=\"0\" align=\"left\" id=\"isPasted\"><tbody><tr><td valign=\"top\" align=\"left\"><p><br></p><p>A <strong>CNC programmer</strong> writes code to automate power driven machines that cut and finish metal, as lathes, grinders and mills. This position is a 40 plus (+) hour position. Machinery Supervisor or Lead experience a plus. &nbsp;This position is based in our facility in Tomball, TX <strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p><strong><u>&nbsp;</u></strong><strong><u>RESPONSIBILITIES &amp; ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:</u></strong>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Creates instructions for machinists.</li><li>Reviews 3D/2d CAD design blueprints.</li><li>Provides support to machinists during CNC machine set-up.</li><li>Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut.</li><li>Translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program.&nbsp;</li><li>Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests.</li><li>Prepares geometric layout of designs using proper software.</li><li>Determines sequence of operations in a program.</li><li>Choose cutting tools that will be needed.</li><li>Analyzes job order and performs necessary calculations.</li><li>Writes programs and modifies existing ones for increased efficiency.</li><li>Analyzes and selects speeds and cutting tools for programs.</li><li>Makes improvements to set up times for a task and contouring of complex shapes.</li><li>Simplifies tooling time for workers and increases productivity for the client.</li><li>Evaluates all completed designs to validate their functions and ensure they successfully reduce time and money for the client.</li><li>Monitors all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task.</li><li>Complies with all safety rules and regulations.</li></ul><p><strong><u>JOB REQUIREMENTS &amp; QUALIFICATIONS:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\" id=\"isPasted\"><li>Must have experience in Edgecam and SolidWorks.</li><li>Must have excellent reading comprehension skills.</li><li>Experience programming of 3, 4 and 5-axis, mills and lathes</li><li>Good math skills, especially algebra, trigonometry, and physics.</li><li>Must have good problem-solving skills.</li><li>Must have excellent time management skills, organizational and planning skills</li><li>Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Must be mechanically inclined.</li><li>Knowledge of metal shop work.</li><li>Must be highly detail oriented.</li><li>Must be able to work effectively with little or no supervision.</li></ul><u><strong>EDUCATION:</strong></u><br><ul type=\"disc\" id=\"isPasted\"><li>High School diploma.</li><li>Knowledge of electronics and machine tools.</li><li>At least 4 years of experience with programming.</li><li>Continuing education to learn new techniques as they emerge.</li><li>Certification from accredited technical school or work experience.</li></ul><p><strong><u>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\" id=\"isPasted\"><li>This position can be required to participate in the company random or customer specific drug and alcohol screening and background check.</li><li>Ability to lift 30 lbs.</li><li>Ability to professionally handle stressful situations.</li><li>Outgoing personality to interact with entire company and customers.</li><li>Organization skills to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.</li><li>Ability to sit or stand for long periods of times, able to reach above head, bend and stand.</li><li>Able to pass a pre-employment drug, alcohol test and background check.</li><li>Must not have allergies or issues related to handling oils or metals including aluminum, copper, bronze and steel.</li></ul><u><strong>ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBLITIES:</strong></u><br><p id=\"isPasted\">Special Information (Travel required, physical requirements, background checks, valid license, on-call schedules, weekend rotations, lifting up to 30 lbs.)&nbsp;</p><ul><li>The position will be based full time in our Tomball, TX facility.</li><li>Able to understand, read, write, and speak English proficiently.</li><li>Legal to work in the United States and provide proper documentation</li></ul><p><strong><u>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\" id=\"isPasted\"><li>While performing the duties of this position, the employee will routinely enter a shop environment and will be exposed to moving mechanical parts.
