          "text": "<p><strong>Overall Purpose and Objective of Position</strong></p><p>The Utilities Operator is responsible for monitoring and operating plant boilers including all auxiliary equipment, responding to equipment issues or alarms, works in a safe and clean manner ensuring work area is kept clean and free from all safety hazards, and reports to the Utilities Supervisor. Excellent written, documentation and verbal communication skills, as well as a willingness to work a rotating shift schedule is required.</p><p>&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor&#xa0;and operate&#xa0;plant boilers including all ancillary equipment in the facility, such as Water Treatment Systems, Air Compressors, Wastewater Treatment Systems, and Refrigeration Systems</li><li>Respond&#xa0;to equipment issues or alarms; investigates and initiates resolution</li><li>Ensures compliance with Company safety rules and wears proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs) as required in fulfillment of assigned responsibilities&#xa0;</li><li>Additional responsibilities include monitoring and adjustment of the water treatment plant, and cooling tower water quality and the operation of the Deodorizer vacuum system refrigeration system.</li><li>Work in an organized, safe, and clean manner, ensuring work area is kept clean and free from all safety hazards</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Responsibilities/Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Ensures work area is kept free from safety hazards which require regular bending and occasional lifting.&#xa0; Fully responsible for housekeeping as directed by management</li><li>Completes tasks assigned by the Utilities Supervisor</li><li>Actively participates in Shift/Team activities including complying with best practices, standard operating procedures, development and maintenance and continuous improvement efforts.</li><li>Actively participates in job-related training as required.</li><li>Other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><strong>Company Conformance Statements</strong></p><p>In the performance of their respective tasks and duties all employees are expected to conform to the following:</p><ul><li>Perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision.</li><li>Interact professionally with co-workers, Company business associates and the general public.</li><li>Work together in a cooperative spirit to serve the best interests of the Company.</li><li>Operate in a fully responsible manner and comply with the law and Company policy.</li></ul><p><strong>Education/Professional Certifications/Licenses</strong></p><p>Basic qualifications:&#xa0;</p><ul><li>High School Diploma/GED</li><li>State of Ohio High Pressure Boiler License</li></ul><p>Preferred qualifications:</p><ul><li>Waste Water Experience</li></ul><p><strong>Experience</strong></p><p>Basic qualifications:</p><ul><li>2-5 years of operating High Pressure Boilers</li></ul><p><strong>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (including any physical demands)</strong></p><ul><li>Broad knowledge of steam processes, procedures, and equipment</li><li>Broad knowledge of water testing methods</li><li>Broad knowledge of plant production processes, procedures, and equipment</li><li>Strong mathematical skills and the ability to use statistical software.</li><li>Ability to communicate in a professional manner both written and verbal</li><li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment</li><li>Excellent attention to detail&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;</li><li>General industrial maintenance knowledge</li><li>Knowledge of wastewater management</li></ul><p><strong>Equipment Used</strong></p><ul><li>Standard water testing equipment</li><li>Typical office equipment: PC, telephone, printer/scanner, fax machine.</li><li>Heavy machinery including bobcats, payloaders, forklifts etc</li><li>Personal protective equipment as required.</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><p>&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;
