          "text": "<p><strong>American Iron &amp; Metal&#xa0;</strong>(AIM) is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Groundsman / Operator to join our Rail Team&#xa0;in<strong>&#xa0;Montréal-Est, Québec, from Monday to Friday, 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.</strong>&#xa0;In this role, you are responsible for providing safe and efficient rail car switching services working in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic and great communication skills.&#xa0;</p><p><strong><u>What you’re responsible for:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Ensuring safe operation of the locomotive and train movements</li><li>Ability to&#xa0;carry out specific instructions detailing a train’s route and specific movements</li><li>Perform switching of railcars, including coupling and uncoupling cars, and is able to lift out coupling devices</li><li>Signaling crew members for movement of the engine or train using a radio to indicate when to start, stop, back-up, set or release air brakes</li><li>Having&#xa0;the ability to move on and off moving or stationary equipment while the train is in motion during yard switching</li><li>Riding&#xa0;moving rail cars using the ladder on the side for extended amount of periods of time</li><li>Carry out other related tasks as required by operational needs or supervisor directives.</li></ul>",

          "text": "<p><strong><u>To join our team:</u></strong></p><ul><li>You have previous experience as a groundsman OR working within a rail team is preferred</li><li>You have excellent teamwork skills and clear communication&#xa0;</li><li>You are physically fit including the ability to pull oneself up and down from a railcar continuously&#xa0;</li><li>You are able to lift (50lbs+) and twist air hoses, secure rail car brakes, derails, and switches</li><li>You are proactive with the ability to take action/assess a situation with teams safety paramount&#xa0;</li><li>You are comfortable with physically demanding work in&#xa0;all-weather conditions</li><li>You have experience in a manufacturing environment and in operating heavy equipment (loaders, cranes, shuttle trains)</li></ul>",
