Johanna Foods is also a leading private label and co-pack juice and yogurt producer, manufacturing products for numerous leading retailers and brands.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Job Summary</u></strong><strong>: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Responsible for collecting, inspecting and testing equipment, as well as raw and finished products in a food manufacturing plant.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><u>Johanna Foods Compensation</u></strong><strong>:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Compensation $22.00- $25.00/hour, based on skills, experience, qualifications and testing</li>\n <li>Premium healthcare benefits, including medical, dental and vision coverage</li>\n <li>Retirement savings account</li>\n <li>Company paid life insurance, vacation, holidays and sick days</li>\n <li>Full-time, 40-hour work week plus overtime opportunities</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Obtains samples from in process and packaging lines for inspection and testing.</li>\n <li>Performs chemical and bacterial tests on raw in process and packaged products.</li>\n <li>Performs tests to keep lab in compliance with FDA/NJ State lab requirement.</li>\n <li>Conducts calibrations of instruments and devices within the quality assurance department as well as specific production instruments. Keeps records of these calibrations.</li>\n <li>Maintains conformance in SQF standards by completing tasks and maintaining that the work is done in a sanitary manner.</li>\n <li>Completes beverage analytical testing, micro plating, residual peroxide and ATP testing.</li>\n <li>Provides the same laboratory expertise and performance necessary to analyze finished products within their specifications for microbiological, chemical, physical and organoleptic requirements.</li>\n <li>Maintains raw material/ingredient receiving, sampling and inspection procedures.</li>\n <li>Monitors beverage products to assure quality is being controlled.</li>\n <li>Performs various chemical, physical and sensory tests on juices and concentrates to determine compliance with regulatory standards.</li>\n <li>Maintains and orders the equipment, chemicals, reagents and supplies that are required to perform production and laboratory Quality Control functions.</li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with applicable quality system standards and the unit’s food safety and security programs in support of essential manufacturing strategies and practices.</li>\n <li>Serves as Alternate to other QC Technicians to ensure effective coverage of the Safe Quality Food responsibilities pertaining to that position.</li>\n <li>Special assignments upon request of the Quality Control Manager.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Minimum of a High School diploma, some College preferred</li>\n <li>Prior Quality Control experience required</li>\n <li>Requires the ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic computations</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently; normally receives no instruction on routine work, general instruction on new assignments     </li>\n <li>Strong verbal and interpersonal skills</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area that promotes safety and efficiency</li>\n <li>Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends</li>\n</ul>",
