Bakery Team Lead&nbsp;can work at a fast pace, has a keen eye for safety and will be able to help execute an assortment of duties throughout the store.&nbsp;</p> \n<p>&nbsp;</p> \n<p><strong>Responsibilities:&nbsp;</strong>An&nbsp;Asst. Bakery Team Lead&nbsp;is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service.&nbsp;</p> \n<p>An Asst. Bakery Team Lead’s responsibilities include:&nbsp;</p> \n<ul> \n <li> <p>Directing bakery department personnel, meeting department’s goals and objectives&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Managing and bakery while the bakery manager is not on duty.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Communicating directly with the bakery manager, store director and bakery specialist.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Ordering the supplies and products necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Merchandising bakery goods in accordance with bakery merchandising standards.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Observing all store rules and company policies directing all team members to do the same.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Execute and support all sales and merchandising initiatives.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Serving as the leader of his/her department, role model, coach, performance evaluator and trainer for his/her team.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Ensuring department and team compliance with heath department and weights and measures requirements.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Maintaining a positive and friendly attitude towards customers and fellow team members.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Engaging with customers through smiles, greetings, product information, suggestive selling, active sampling and genuine thank yous.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Focusing on providing fast and friendly customer service.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Processing cash register transactions, giving back change, processing checks, EBTs, and refunds.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Using scale printer machine, ensuring weights and pricing are correct.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Understanding the importance of and monitoring product pricing, signage, and placement as well as the use of product shelf tags and shelf signage.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Keeping a clean, neat and orderly check stand/sales counter and work production areas.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Wrapping, boxing, weighing, slicing, finishing, and stocking bakery department products, rotating them as necessary to ensure quality and safety.&nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>Taking customer orders, ensuring orders are completed on time and to the customer’s satisfaction. &nbsp;</p> </li> \n <li> <p>All other related duties as assigned&nbsp;</p> </li> \n</ul> \n<p>&nbsp;</p> \n<p><strong>The&nbsp;Asst. Bakery Team Lead&nbsp;responsibilities will primarily be in the Bakery department but may also work in other departments as needed.&nbsp;</strong></p> \n<p>&nbsp;</p> \n<p><strong>Qualifications:&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p> \n<p>Desired qualifications include:&nbsp;</p> \n<ul> \n <li> <p>Friendly and customer service oriented.
