Description
The purpose of the Business Analyst (BA) role is to collaborate with key business stakeholders to carry out technology strategies and find solutions for business needs. This role is instrumental in facilitating business involvement, decision making, and coordination of business resources to deliver and implement high quality projects and prepare business area for changes impacting their areas. The Business Analyst acts as the liaison in understanding a business customer's information or process needs and carrying that message back to a more technically oriented IT staff.
The BA will work on multiple requests/projects simultaneously. The BA will work toward and demonstrate an increasing level of knowledge in overall application functionality and design, including work process flows, database structures, data integrity and consistency, and will be knowledgeable about the assigned areas of the business in general.
Making an Impact
• Work with Product Owners, business owners and user groups to obtain and understand issues and goals and to be able to translate these into technical requirements
• Work with Work with Solutions Manager to grow knowledge of the business and supporting applications and technologies in order to provide alternative solutions and recommendations to fulfill business requirements
• Develop user stories and functional specifications
• Review business requirements and functional specifications with the development and QA teams; work toward becoming the Subject Matter Expert for the application and business processes
• Assisting in QA and UAT functional testing efforts, ensuring business requirements are delivered as expected; facilitate UAT with release documentation, test scripts and training; respond to users questions and issues and track responses
• Understanding of Waterfall and Agile Project methodologies
• Azure DevOps as a tool under MS Office tools
• Provide feedback and ideas for overall requirements, development, and testing process improvements
Sharing Expertise
• Identify and suggest areas for improvement in application functionality as well as internal processes; serve as a subject matter expert to the development and user teams
• Collaborate with the product management team and business and business to influence best in class solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals and improve business systems; grow to anticipate user needs
Gaining Exposure
• Creativity and identification of effective solutions are impacts the product usability and quality of service to the clients.

• Experience with business and technical requirements analysis, modeling, verification
• Knowledge of quality assurance and user acceptance testing practices and
• methodologies
• Experience with MS Office suite of tools (Word, Excel, etc)
Nice to Have
• 3+ years in a technology Business Analyst role preferred
• Knowledge of Bullhorn products is a plus
