We are currently seeking a part time-time Licensed Social Worker to join our Visiting Family Assistance Program Team! The Licensed Social Worker will provide trauma-informed counseling, interventions, and therapy to children and families in our Rikers Island based Visiting Family Assistance Program. The Licensed Social Worker will lead clinical groups, offer clinical supervision, deliver play therapy, and facilitate parenting workshops. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to supporting families, addressing trauma, and promoting healing within a collaborative, supportive environment. This is a 1 year contract role with the possibility of extension. 15-20 hrs a week with a flexible schedule. This position requires clearance by the New York City Department of Correction. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain Department of Correction (DOC) clearance to work on Rikers Island and/or other applicable facilities operated by the Department of Correction. Salary: $48.00 - $55.00 hourly
