    "description": "<p><strong>Cardiovascular Sonographer | US Heart and Vascular | Orion Medical </strong></p>\n\n<p>Orion Medical is in search of a Full Time&nbsp; Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team in southeast Houston.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Performs 2-D Echo, stress echocardiography and Doppler studies.</li>\n\t<li>Perform vascular testing (preferred) including carotid doppler, upper and lower extremities arterial doppler, upper and lower extremities venous doppler, venous Insufficiency ultrasound, abdominal aortic aneurysm screening ultrasound, ABIs.</li>\n\t<li>Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent from patient.</li>\n\t<li>Ensures all required licensure/certification always remain active/current.</li>\n\t<li>Provides excellent customer service and the highest quality patient care.</li>\n\t<li>At all times protects the confidentiality of protected health information (PHI) of patients per HIPAA regulations; including does not review his/her own record, or records of employees or co-workers without a &ldquo;need to know&rdquo;.</li>\n\t<li>Actively demonstrates teamwork.</li>\n\t<li>Follows other policies and procedures such that there are no verbal or written warnings during the evaluation period.</li>\n\t<li>Always adheres to company safety standards.</li>\n\t<li>Other duties as requested or assigned.</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Minimum of one year of experience is preferred but not required. New graduates are encouraged to apply</li>\n\t<li>Credentialed in Adult Echocardiography and Vascular (ARDMS or CCI) is required, current BLS certification. &nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>About the Position:</strong></p>\n\n<ul>\n\t<li>Monday- Friday</li>\n\t<li>No weekends, No Call</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p><strong>About Houston, TX:</strong></p>\n\n<p>Houston is a diverse city with a booming job market in energy, healthcare, and tech.
