We are committed to improving the lives of our patients while maintaining the highest level of care through the process.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>What Are We Looking For?</span></p>\n<p>Defy is looking for a Quality Control Specialist to add to our growing team. The Quality Control Specialist plays a pivotal role in the patient care plan. Through patience, integrity, and attention to detail a Quality Control Specialist will ensure every Defy Medical patient receives accurate and high-quality care.</p>\n<p>A Quality Control Specialist at Defy is outgoing and enjoys helping people. They can adapt and learn new computer programs quickly. Multitasking, communication, and teamwork are pillars for a Quality Control Specialist. Analytics and attention to detail are the key traits to be successful in this role.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Reviewing prescriptions to ensure accuracy</li>\n<li>Sending prescriptions to the pharmacy to be processed</li>\n<li>Reviewing EHR to ensure all necessary information is recorded</li>\n<li>Reviewing lab order to ensure all lab orders are completed and recorded</li>\n<li>Effective daily communication with contracted pharmacies</li>\n<li>Swift and effective communication to correct any mistakes</li>\n<li>Schedule Audits</li>\n<li>Prescription Audits</li>\n<li>Handle medication recalls appropriately</li>\n<li>Ensuring payments are handled properly</li>\n<li>Handling a high volume of charts</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>2 + years' experience in healthcare setting preferred</li>\n<li>Electronic Health Record experience required</li>\n<li>Electronic Medical Record experience required</li>\n<li>Computer processing experience required </li>\n<li>Effective communication</li>\n<li>Effective resolution skills</li>\n<li>Experience with Medicine/ Pharmacology</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Shift Available</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Monday-Friday 12:30pm-9:00pm (</span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">with a training period of Monday-Friday 9am-5pm for 3 weeks minimum)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Salary: $18.00 per hour (not negotiable)</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Benefits</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>PTO</li>\n<li>Paid Holidays</li>\n<li>Medical</li>\n<li>Dental</li>\n<li>Health insurance</li>\n<li>Employee Discount on services</li>\n</ul>\n<p>*Benefits are subject to change at any time</p>",
