Ensures accurate and timely installation of products in compliance with the manufacturer’s specifications and to the customer’s satisfaction. </p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist in the loading, unloading, and occasional transportation of furniture </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Install (assemble) furniture – both modular and freestanding, in compliance with the manufacturer’s specifications </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Identify and develop product lists, from blueprints, necessary to complete installations. </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Install furniture in compliance with design specifications </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide fine-tuning of furniture upon completion of installation, ie, cleaning, wiping down, and leveling </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Take direction from Lead Installer and Supervisor for loading, transport, unloading, staging, stripping, assembly, and movement of furniture </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:</strong> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Education/Experience </p>\n<p>High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Mechanical ability with knowledge of hand/power tools listed under Required Tools </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Good organizational skills </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Ability to follow instructions </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Must have reliable transportation to work at job sites throughout the Bay Area </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Dedication and commitment to promote diversity, multiculturalism, and inclusion in all work activities </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate in diverse teams to foster productive outcomes </li>\n</ul>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of Google Suite Programs  </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Required Tools </p>\n<p>18V Cordless drill, charger & 2 batteries, apex/magnetic bit holder, bits (P2, P3, R2, R3) & nut drivers, drill bits for wood & metal, socket adapters, ratchet set, wonder bar, torpedo level, dead blow (non-marking), (3) standard & (3) Philip screwdrivers, pliers, channel locks, needle nose, tape measure, open wrench set, 3 light electrical tester, utility knife, allen wrench set (standard & metric), vise grips & tool bag.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Physical Requirements </p>\n<p>Seeing, color and depth perception, hearing/listening, clear speech, touching, ability to move distances within and between warehouses/offices, ability to mount and dismount forklift/truck, pushing/pulling, driving, lifting to 100 pounds, and carrying up to 50 pounds.  Must be able to climb up into and down from delivery trucks, and walk up and down ramps where required. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Work Environment </p>\n<p>Works around dust and dirt, may be required to work different shifts and work hours; may work alone or with a team; in moderate heat or cold, around electrical equipment, fumes/odors, and/or dirt/dust.
