What you’ll do… We are looking to hire a detailed-oriented, driven, and resourceful electrical designer for multiple Microgrid Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) projects. The successful candidate will perform project and electrical design work. You will prepare project design packages typically comprising one lines, layouts, MTOs, installation details etc. under the supervision of a Senior/Lead Engineer. Mechanical / construction design experience is a plus. This position will report to the Director of Microgrid Engineering and will work a hybrid schedule based out of our headquarters in downtown Houston, TX. Key Responsibilities: Perform the following under supervision of Project Lead Engineer: Complete Electrical designs and layouts for complete systems and components of a project Performs project design packages typically comprising one lines, layouts, MTOs, installation details, etc. Ensures compliance with required specifications, tolerances, safety factors, and client requirements Understands and applies commonly used company design standards and methods. Designs and creates orthographic (2D) drawings Collaborates with Engineers and Designers to ensure quality of design Responsible for ensuring that tasks assigned are completed on time and are of good quality Other items as required by Engineering management team
