All procedures are carried out in accordance with established standards, policies, protocols and guidelines.</p>\n<p>This position requires a two year approved schooling for Certified Physical Therapist Assistant.  Licensed or license pending in the State of Illinois and without previous disciplinary action in Illinois or another state.   </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Schedule:</p>\n<p>Part-Time, Days</p>\n<p>Contact me if intersted at [email protected] or schedule a call with me to discuss at:</p>\n<p>  https://MemorialHealthIL.as.me/KariWatson</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>To review Memorial's Benefits click here: Benefits - Memorial HR</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>Licensure/Certification/Registry:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Illinois eligible/licensed Physical Therapy Assistant.</li>\n <li>CPR certification is required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Experience:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work experience preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Universal Precautions Category I.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<li>Carries out patient care program as established by the therapist to patients of all ages.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Performs treatment procedures safely and in accordance with American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) standards and department policies.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Communicates with the Physical Therapist and other team members to assure effective teamwork within the work setting.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Takes appropriate action when warranted by the patient’s condition.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Participates in patient care documentation.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Maintains the environment and departmental equipment in a neat, functional and safe order.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Maintains skills in treatment procedure through utilization of in-service and continuing education opportunities and expertise of other clinical staff personnel.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Demonstrates flexibility in daily scheduling of patients</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Participates in training programs for students, hospital staff and community.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Promotes health and safety in the work environment.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Actively participates in competency assessment process.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<li>Performs other related work as required or requested.</li>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by incumbents of this job.
