    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">We’re looking for a </span><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Claims Analyst</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Based in our Dublin office but working flexibly and reporting to the Head of Claims Operations &amp; Analytics, the Claims Analyst will provide vital support for Hamilton’s claims function to ensure that we provide a first-class claims service to our clients around the world.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Hamilton Global Specialty is our multi-platform, specialty insurer operating primarily through a Lloyd's Syndicate and Dublin operating company with a managing general agency in the US.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you will do</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Set up new claims</li>\n<li>Update existing claims</li>\n<li>Process reserves and payments</li>\n<li>Update claims diary</li>\n<li>Provide data reports</li>\n<li>Compile weekly dashboards</li>\n<li>Maintain Excel spreadsheets</li>\n<li>Carry out sanctions and premium checks</li>\n<li>Mailbox management</li>\n<li>Bordereaux upload and mapping to Bordereaux Management System</li>\n<li>Review and cleanse bordereaux claims data</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you require for the role </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Excellent Excel skills (including lookups &amp; pivots)</span></li>\n<li><span>Advanced numerical skills with good attention to detail</span></li>\n<li><span>Excellent communication skills</span></li>\n<li><span>Ability to work on your own and as part of a team</span></li>\n<li><span>Flexibility to work within multiple platforms</span></li>\n<li>Ability to productively leverage data and technology</li>\n<li>Open, innovative and inclusive mindset</li>\n<li>Collaborative spirit</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span> </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">What you can expect from us</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We offer a vibrant, entrepreneurial, and collaborative culture guided by our values: Be Smart, Be Sensible, Be Open and Be More.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>We know if we welcome and respect differences, we’ll attract and retain talent that brings a valuable diversity of perspectives and experience.
