This is a part-time, flex schedule position with a great organization that allows you to <strong>get your foot in the door in a fast-paced media company!</strong></p>\n<p><strong>The Promotions Assistant position here in San Diego is unlike any other</strong> – this market allows the opportunity for a multitude of desired skill sets including in-field marketing, event production, live broadcast assistance, photography, videography, editing, social media coordination, office assistance and more. You may assist with the execution of station activations, set up and promote the station at the events, capture onsite content, and work with client sponsors. You regularly interact with our passionate listeners to create a positive station image, give away merchandise and execute station activations. </p>\n<p>You are the face of the station!</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You'll Do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support <strong>in-field marketing</strong> and <strong>event production</strong>, assisting with the execution of station activations and live broadcasts.</li>\n <li>Set up, break down, and transport <strong>promotional event equipment</strong> as required, ensuring all staging elements like banners are displayed effectively.</li>\n <li>Capture and edit <strong>onsite content</strong> through <strong>photography</strong> and <strong>videography</strong> to promote events on social media.</li>\n <li>Coordinate <strong>social media content</strong> to enhance the station’s visibility and engagement during events.</li>\n <li>Engage with <strong>listeners</strong> and <strong>client sponsors</strong> on-site to build a positive station image, distribute merchandise, and foster memorable event experiences.</li>\n <li>Maintain promotional <strong>equipment and vehicles</strong>, ensuring they are clean, organized, and ready for each event.</li>\n <li>Provide <strong>office assistance</strong> as needed, supporting the promotions team with administrative and logistical tasks.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong><u>More About You:</u></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>0 to 2 years experience; must be 18 years of age or older.</li>\n <li>High School Diploma or GED, preferred. </li>\n <li><strong>Previous experience</strong> in event promotions, marketing, or customer service is preferred but not required.</li>\n <li>Strong <strong>interpersonal skills</strong> with the ability to engage with listeners and create a positive, energetic atmosphere at events.</li>\n <li>Basic skills in <strong>photography, videography, and content editing</strong> for social media are a plus.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with <strong>social media platforms</strong> (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter) and ability to assist in coordinating event content.</li>\n <li>Availability to work a <strong>flexible schedule</strong>, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed for events.</li>\n <li>Strong <strong>organizational skills</strong> and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li>\n <li><strong>Professional demeanor, positive attitude and team player! </strong>Comfortable working with clients, listeners, and station staff to represent the brand positively.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Other requirements: </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>A valid driver’s license, satisfactory completion of a motor vehicle record check, and, if the position requires use of applicant’s own vehicle, proof of insurance, is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Physical Requirements: </strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs and/or ladders; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear or smell.
