At Quality Equipment, there are opportunities to grow and advance in your career.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">We are currently looking for a <strong>Precision Ag Field Pro</strong> to join us in our <strong>Clinton</strong> store.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><br></p><p data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>PURPOSE:</strong></p><p>Provides agronomic solutions and support for the sale and use of John Deere Agriculture Management Solutions (AMS) equipment. &nbsp;Works with all dealership departments to sell and support precision farming products to producers in their trade area. &nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBITIES:</strong></p><ul><li>Profiles customer&rsquo;s machines, vehicles and demographic information &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Participates in product presentations at customer clinics, pre-Expo Meetings, John Deere Days and meetings held outside the dealership</li><li>Assists the Sales department with after sales calls to ensure equipment operates to the customer&rsquo;s satisfaction</li><li>Provides technical support where applicable while successfully tracking billable time.</li><li>Provides leadership across the organization for the sale of Precision Farming Products offered through John Deere</li><li>Creates and executes a John Deere Agriculture Management Solutions (AMS) Marketing Plan for assigned area including Engaged Acre Strategy as it is delivered from ISM.</li><li>Develops and delivers employee training for AMS products</li><li>Manages the adoption of new technology and product offerings</li><li>Manages dealership inventory processes for AMS products, customer follow-up processes, and customer satisfaction issues related to product line.</li><li>Provides support for advanced customer training (including desktop software products) offered through John Deere</li><li>Identifies and leads training opportunities for customer education programs involving AMS and host product solutions</li><li>Serves as the internal and external dealership technical specialist relative to the entire AMS product line</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p><ul><li>1+ years of experience in an agricultural-related role with activities such as sales, service, training, or other related work. Prior experience with JD technology and support is preferred or similar customer support role.</li><li>Certified Crop Advisor accreditation or ability to achieve within 18 months of hire date.</li><li>Extremely organized, sensitive to deadlines and goals within dealership.</li><li>Must be driven to achieve results, highly attentive to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Solid communication skills. Can deal with and effectively resolve challenging customer issues.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li>&nbsp; &nbsp;Noise Levels: Medium to High.</li><li>&nbsp; &nbsp;Weight Requirements: Lifting up to 50 lbs.</li><li>&nbsp; &nbsp;Mobility: Squatting, bending, climbing, lifting, reaching, twisting, standing, sitting and repetitive keyboarding for long durations of time. &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>&nbsp; &nbsp;Visual: Working with PC, online content, manuals and close detailed work &nbsp; &nbsp;</li><li>&nbsp; &nbsp;Work Environment: Exposure to extreme weather, fumes, airborne particles and moving mechanical parts</li><li>&nbsp; &nbsp;Dexterity: Ability to grasp and manipulate tools, equipment and machines.</li></ul><p><br></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">Our employees receive competitive wages and can participate in the benefits which currently include medical and dental insurance, flexible spending account, life insurance, paid time off, paid holidays, a 401(K) program with employer match and a company discount.
