    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Data Scientist I supports the U.S. Army by developing, documenting, and maintaining acquisition strategies, strategic plans, and formal program management documentation to guide capability development and modernization initiatives.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>· Uses Power BI, creates dashboards, interactive visual reports, and runs queries and functions</p>\n<p>· Defines key performance indicators (KPIs) with specific objectives and tracks them regularly</p>\n<p>· Analyzes data and displays it in reports to aid decision-making</p>\n<p>· Converts business needs into technical specifications and establishes a timetable for job completion</p>\n<p>· Creates, tests, and deploys Power BI scripts, as well as executes efficient deep analysis</p>\n<p>· Create charts and data documentation with explanations of algorithms, parameters, models, and relationships</p>\n<p>· Construct a data warehouse</p>\n<p>· Use SQL queries to get the best results</p>\n<p>· Make technological adjustments to current BI systems to improve their performance</p>\n<p>· For a better understanding of the data, use filters and visualizations. Background with BI tools and systems such as Power BI, Tableau, and SAP</p>\n<p>· Prior experience in data-related tasks</p>\n<p>· Understanding of the Microsoft BI Stack</p>\n<p>· Mastery in data analytics</p>\n<p>· Should be proficient in software development</p>\n<p>· Analytical thinking for converting data into relevant reports and graphics</p>\n<p>· Capable of enabling row-level data security</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>· Bachelor's Degree - with an emphasis in data analytics or statistics</p>\n<p>· A minimum of five (5) years of related work experience is required.</p>\n<p>· Seven years of relevant experience is required if the candidate does not possess a Bachelor's degree.</p>\n<p>· Ability to run queries on Power BI desktop with knowledge of Power BI application security layer models</p>\n<p>· Proficient in doing advanced-level computations on the data set; excellent communication skills</p>\n<p>· Secret Clearance</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Salary Range: $145,000 - $162,000</p>\n<p>The above salary range represents a general guideline.
