Description

Information At Flyhjælp, we give people access to justice. Flyhjælp helps air passengers across the Nordics claim compensation when their flights are delayed or cancelled. We combine legal expertise with technology to make the process swift, easy and transparent. We are currently looking for a new HR Student Assistant to join our Copenhagen office on a part-time basis (10-15 hours weekly). In this role, you will work closely with our HR Manager in Copenhagen and support with a wide range of HR-related tasks across recruitment, employee administration, internal documentation, compliance, onboarding and day-to-day HR operations. You will also collaborate with our HR team in Berlin, as Flyhjælp is part of the German legal-tech company Flightright. This is a great opportunity for someone who is currently studying HRM, psychology, business administration or another relevant field, and who would like to gain practical experience within HR in an international company. The role will give you insight into how HR works in practice in a growing legal-tech company, where you will support both recurring HR processes and ad hoc tasks. Depending on your skills, interests and development, there will also be room to take on more complex tasks over time. Your mission Your mission is to support our HR function in Copenhagen and help ensure that our HR processes are structured, compliant and carried out with care. You will assist with a broad range of HR tasks that support the full employee journey -from recruitment and contracts to onboarding, internal documentation, employee communication and practical HR administration. This is a role for someone who enjoys structure, takes responsibility and is motivated by learning how HR works in a real organisational setting. You will be trusted with your own tasks and will have the opportunity to develop your skills while working closely with experienced HR colleagues. You will become part of a small but important HR setup in Copenhagen, while also being connected to our broader HR team in Berlin. Your work will contribute to creating a professional, supportive and well-organised employee experience at Flyhjælp. In your day-to-day work, you will: Assist with drafting employment contracts, contract changes and other HR-related documents Support recruitment processes, including job postings, candidate communication, interview coordination and practical follow-up Help keep our internal HR documentation up to date and aligned with relevant processes and compliance requirements Support updates to our employee handbook and internal HR pages when needed Assist with managing the HR inbox and responding to or forwarding employee-related questions Apply for A1 certificates and support with other employee administration tasks Help prepare and coordinate onboarding days for new employees in collaboration with our Office Assistant and HR Manager Support with workshops, internal meetings and HR-related events Assist with maintaining structure in HR systems, templates, documents and internal processes Help with ad hoc HR tasks related to employee experience, communication, administration and compliance Your profile You are currently studying HRM, psychology, business administration or another relevant field, and you are interested in gaining hands-on experience within HR. You do not need to have extensive previous HR experience. What matters most is that you are structured, responsible and willing to learn. You are comfortable working independently, taking ownership of your own tasks and following them through to completion. You enjoy working with details, documentation and administrative processes, and you understand the importance of handling employee-related information with care and confidentiality. At the same time, you are service-minded and enjoy supporting both colleagues and candidates in a professional and helpful way. You are motivated by developing within HR and would like to be part of a role where you can gradually take on more responsibility as your skills grow. Communicate clearly and confidently in Danish and English, both written and spoken Why us? At Flyhjælp, we work with a clear purpose: giving people access to justice. Air passenger rights exist to protect travellers, but in reality, many never claim what they are entitled to. The process can feel complex, time-consuming and difficult to navigate. We bridge that gap by making it swift, easy and transparent. Our Copenhagen office is home to colleagues working across operations, litigation, finance, marketing and HR. We are an international team with colleagues from across the Nordics and other parts of Europe. Since 2021, Flyhjælp has been part of the German company Flightright, which connects us to a broader European legal-tech setup and gives us close collaboration with colleagues in Berlin, Budapest, Cairo and Kyiv. As our HR Student Assistant, you will get practical experience with a broad range of HR tasks and become part of the daily HR work in Copenhagen. You will work closely with our HR Manager and support processes that directly affect the employee experience, from recruitment and onboarding to documentation and internal communication. You’ll be part of a friendly and collaborative workplace where we value trust, ownership and doing things properly - both in how we support our customers and how we work together. What you can expect: A part-time student position with relevant HR experience A flexible working schedule planned together with you, so it fits with your university classes  Flexibility around exam periods and study leave A broad introduction to HR operations, recruitment, onboarding and employee administration Close collaboration with our HR Manager in Copenhagen Collaboration with our HR team in Berlin The opportunity to take ownership of your own tasks from day one Room to develop and take on more complex HR tasks over time A social and international workplace with regular team events and activities Delicious lunch from Meyers in our in-house canteen An office located in Copenhagen, near Kløvermarken Ready to develop your HR skills in practice? Apply by submitting your CV and an application telling us why you would be a great fit for the role. Expected start date is 1st of August. If you have any questions regarding the position, you are welcome to contact our HR Manager Marie Hoffmann at  [email protected] . There is no application deadline, but please send your application as soon as possible, as we invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis and will close the recruitment process once we have found the right candidate. Please note that, due to our work with debt collection, all employment at Flyhjælp is conditional upon the selected candidate presenting a criminal record certificate as part of the final recruitment process. The certificate will be assessed only to the extent relevant to the position and our business requirements, and will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection and recruitment rules.
