Currently hiring for 3rd shift&nbsp;<br />\r\n<br />\r\n<strong>This position is responsible for:</strong>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Supervises and monitors the activities of inmates ensuring safety and compliance with established laws, rules and regulations.&nbsp; Produces reports and records of inappropriate behavior.</li>\r\n\t<li>Makes periodic, random rounds of the facility; records any incidents occurring on assigned shift by use of inmate incident reports or on logs.&nbsp; Facilitates and records headcounts to ensure inmate accountability.</li>\r\n\t<li>Obtains urine specimens and tests for alcohol use by inmates, using specified procedures.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Conducts pat, wand, room and vehicle searches for detection and deterrence of contraband.&nbsp; Documents results of searches.</li>\r\n\t<li>Monitors Center activities by use of video surveillance camera system.</li>\r\n\t<li>Secures, distributes and records inmate medication(s) in accordance with established procedures.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<strong>Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Mental and Physical Requirements:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Ability to lead and supervise others.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to meet attendance requirements.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to read, write and communicate the English language.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to respond to emergency situations quickly and calmly while maintaining control and initiating proper action.</li>\r\n\t<li>Ability to perform combinations of sitting, standing and walking.&nbsp; Distance traveled is usually within the same building.</li>\r\n\t<li>Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying objects less than 25 pounds.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>Work is an office environment where there are limited physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt and the like.</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n<strong>Employee Benefits:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n\t<li>PTO Accrual</li>\r\n\t<li>Benefits: including medical, dental, hearing, vision</li>\r\n\t<li>Paid Holidays</li>\r\n</ul>\r\n",
