    "description": "<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Peraton requires an Asset Manager to support the Special Operations Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3.  This position is located at Camp Lejeune, NC.     </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end-user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Roles and Responsibilities:</strong><strong> </strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Sets and defines a comprehensive Asset Management Strategy with the customer, including setting goals, objectives, and KPI/metrics. </li>\n <li>Recommends and supports the development and maintenance of, and updates approved policies and procedures for effective asset lifecycle management (acquisition, deployment, utilization, de-installation, reallocation, and disposal) of IT assets. </li>\n <li>Sets and implements IT cross team integrations with IT Service Management processes, such as Configuration Management, Incident, Change, Problem Management, etc. </li>\n <li>Drives ROI and efficiency strategy through effective analytics and reporting, acquisition strategy and licensing, and process discipline. </li>\n <li>Responsible for compliance with security policies and standards for IT assets. </li>\n <li>Recommends and supports the development, and maintenance of approved processes for managing and tracking the full IT asset, license, and maintenance lifecycle from procurement to retirement. </li>\n <li>Responsible that IT Asset Management deliverables, according to the contract, are delivered on time and accurately. </li>\n <li>Oversees the shipping and disposable processes and execution. </li>\n <li>Responsible for overall physical and virtual audits, including RCA for noncompliance, action plans to address gaps, and identification and implementation of continuous improvement actions for technology, process and people (training). </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong><strong> </strong>  </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Min 6 years with HS Diploma; 4 years with AS/AA; or 2 years with BS/BA.</li>\n <li>Active DoD TS/SCI clearance. </li>\n <li>Experience in an IT and Asset Management position. </li>\n <li>Must have the ability to communicate well both orally and in writing. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Peraton Overview</h2>\n<p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
