Passion for Life, Inc. was created to be a high energy and engaging process that helps students identify their passions and gain clarity on how to utilize their core strengths and talents to select a career.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Job Description</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Passion for Life, Inc.</span><span> </span>seeks committed and motivated individuals to serve as Career Coaches. This impactful role involves guiding middle and high school students through self-discovery exercises, career exploration, and goal setting to help them realize their potential. As a Career Coach, you will guide in-person workshops and group coaching sessions, using an interactive and engaging approach to inspire students to define and pursue their career aspirations.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This role is ideal for individuals passionate about guiding youth and helping students unlock their potential. We are looking for a diverse group of Career Coaches who can work with youth/teenagers, go through our training program and inspire students to find their passion/purpose. </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Schedule &amp; Compensation</span></p>\n<p>This role operates on a part-time basis with hands on training provided. Compensation is a paid at a flat rate of $15 an hour (contract). </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Interviews to start in January, 2026.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Career Guidance and Goal Setting:</span><span> </span>Assist students in identifying personal interests, strengths, and career goals, helping them to create personalized career development plans and set SMART goals.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Facilitating Workshops:</span><span> </span>Lead high-energy, interactive group sessions based on a structured workshop script to engage students in self-discovery and career planning.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Student Progress Monitoring:</span><span> </span>Track and evaluate students’ progress by documenting individual needs, goals, and action steps after each session to ensure continuous development.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Advising on Career Pathways:</span><span> </span>Use assessments to help students evaluate their aptitudes and interests and advise them on relevant educational and career pathways.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Building Resilience and Personal Development:</span><span> </span>Support students in developing resilience and a growth mindset, preparing them to overcome challenges they may face in achieving their career goals.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Qualifications</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Education Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently pursuing a degree in Psychology, Counseling, Sociology, or a related field.</li>\n<li>Classified as a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Required Skills</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Active Listening:</span><span> </span>Demonstrates excellent listening skills, fully attending to students’ comments and questions to foster a supportive environment.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Interpersonal and Communication Skills:</span><span> </span>Exhibits strong verbal and written communication abilities, facilitating precise, effective interactions with individuals and groups.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Empathy and Patience:</span><span> </span>Works effectively with a diverse student population, showing deep empathy, patience, and understanding for students from various socioeconomic backgrounds.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Organizational Skills:</span><span> </span>Manages multiple responsibilities with strong organizational skills, ensuring each session is well-structured and impactful.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Rapport Building:</span><span> </span>Naturally builds trust and rapport, helping students feel valued, supported, and confident in their potential.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Positive Outlook and Motivation:</span><span> </span>Brings an optimistic attitude and encourages students to reach their full potential, inspiring confidence and resilience.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Assertiveness and Decision-Making:</span><span> </span>Shows confidence in guiding sessions and making timely decisions, following established procedures to support student progress.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Diversity-Oriented:</span><span> </span>Embraces and respects diversity, working inclusively with students of all ages, genders, ethnicities, and backgrounds.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Energetic and Enthusiastic:</span><span> </span>Maintains high energy and enthusiasm in every session, making the career exploration process engaging and exciting for students.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Integrity and Trustworthiness:</span><span> </span>Upholds honesty and integrity, establishing credibility and trust in all interactions.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Team Building:</span><span> </span>Encourages collaborative efforts among students, helping them work together toward shared goals.</li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Self-motivation and Independence:</span><span> </span>Manages tasks effectively and works autonomously without direct supervision.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Additional Information</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Participation and Availability</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Monthly Workshops:</span><span> </span>These are typically held once or twice a month.
