font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Summer Floater (Full-time)</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px; text-decoration: underline\"><strong>Summer Lead/Assistant Counselor</strong></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">The Summer Lead/Assistant Counselor is responsible for planning, leading, and implementing (or assisting with) programming and experiences for children (ages 15 months to 5 years) in a classroom setting.  Activities may include crafts, nature, songs, games, circle time, water play and activities, etc. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><strong><span style=\"color: #222222\">Essential Responsibilities for all counselors</span></strong></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Identify and respond to participant behavior issues.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ensure that the classroom and outdoor areas are kept clean, organized, and free of litter.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Communicate with director about participant’s experiences and report concerns to Program Leadership.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Assist in maintaining accurate program records including incident reports and daily attendance.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Know, enforce, and follow all safety guidelines and emergency procedures associated with the program and all program areas.  This includes but is not limited to being responsible for your class participants’ safety and their whereabouts at all times. </span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Lead counselors must have a high school diploma and experience as a classroom teacher/working with children.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\"><span style=\"color: #222222\">Assistant counselors must be at least 16 years old and</span><span style=\"color: #222222\"> have some prior experience with children (e.g., babysitting, summer camp, school internship).</span></span><br></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #222222; font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Qualifications required of all counselors:</span><br>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Completion of First Aid and CPR certification.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to lead, plan, organize, and implement program activities.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Ability to work as a member of a team and the ability to accomplish tasks with little direct supervision.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Strong organizational and communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif; font-size: 15px\">Must have the physical ability to lead and participate in program activities which include, but are not limited to hiking, team building initiatives, physical games, and activities.</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Lato, sans-serif;
