    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p data-pasted=\"true\">Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Manager</p><p>Location: Greer, South Carolina (On-site)</p><p>Reports To: Director of Manufacturing / Plant Manager</p><p>Position Summary</p><p>The Manufacturing Engineering Manager is responsible for leading manufacturing engineering activities to support the efficient, scalable, and high-quality production of Airsys&rsquo; HVAC and data center cooling products. This role plays a critical part in driving process excellence, supporting new product introductions, and optimizing manufacturing systems across fabrication, assembly, and testing operations.</p><p>The ideal candidate brings strong leadership experience within HVAC, thermal management, cooling equipment, or related electro-mechanical manufacturing environments, and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization.</p><p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p><p>The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:</p><p>Manufacturing Engineering Leadership</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Lead, mentor, and develop the Manufacturing Engineering team to support production, quality, and continuous improvement objectives</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Establish engineering priorities aligned with production goals, safety, quality, and cost targets</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Serve as a key technical partner to Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and R&amp;D teams</li></ul><p>Process Development &amp; Optimization</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Design, implement, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for HVAC and cooling systems, including fabrication, brazing/welding, assembly, and functional testing</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Develop andmaintainstandard work, routings, work instructions, and process documentation</li></ul><p>New Product Introduction (NPI)</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW123110584 BCX8\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW123110584 BCX8\">Lead manufacturing engineering support for new product launches, ensuring smooth transition from design to production</span></span></li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Collaborate with Product Engineering to ensure manufacturability, scalability, and cost efficiency (DFM/DFA)</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Support pilot builds, validation testing, and ramp-up to full production</li></ul><p>Quality &amp; Continuous Improvement</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Partner with Quality to support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process capability improvements</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Utilize data and KPIs to drive performance improvements in yield, scrap, rework, and cycle time</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Support internal and external audits as needed</li></ul><p>Minimum Qualifications / Requirements</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">7+ years of manufacturing engineering experience, withat least 3 years in a leadership or management role</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Proven experience inHVAC, cooling systems, thermal management, refrigeration, or similar electro-mechanical manufacturing environments</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes such as metal fabrication, welding/brazing, assembly, and testing</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience supporting NPI and high-mix, low-to-medium volume manufacturing</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Demonstrated success driving lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Proficiencyin standard engineering tools and systems (CAD, ERP/MRP, Excel, etc.)</li></ul><p>Preferred Qualifications</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Experience manufacturingdata center cooling equipment, chillers,fanwalls, heat exchangers, or related HVAC products</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Familiarity with ASME, UL, or other relevant industry standards</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\" lang=\"EN-US\" class=\"TextRun SCXW123110584 BCX8\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW123110584 BCX8\">Experience scaling manufacturing operations in a growing or evolving production environment</span></span></li></ul><p>Physical Requirements &amp; Work Environment</p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Primarily based in a manufacturing environment with regular exposure to production floor conditions</li><li style=\"margin-left: 24px;\">Ability to travel occasionally to suppliers or otherAirsysfacilities as needed</li></ul><p>Disclaimer</p><p>The above description outlines the general nature and level of responsibilities associated with this role and is not exhaustive.
