    "description": "<h2>Summary</h2>\n<p>We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manager, SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting to take a key role in our external reporting process and broader corporate accounting initiatives. This is a full-time remote role based in the United States.</p>\n<h2>What you'll do:</h2>\n<p><strong>SEC Reporting & Technical Accounting</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead the preparation, coordination, and review of quarterly and annual filings (Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K), ensuring compliance with US GAAP and SEC regulations.</li>\n <li>Draft financial statements, footnotes, and Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) disclosures.</li>\n <li>Perform technical accounting research; prepare position papers on complex topics (e.g., business combinations, segment reporting); and conduct detailed analysis and review of key accounting items such as cash flow statements and diluted EPS.</li>\n <li>Identify and evaluate upcoming accounting pronouncements, lead implementation of new standards, and clearly communicate findings to management, business partners, and auditors.</li>\n <li>Coordinate the review process with internal stakeholders, legal counsel, and external auditors.</li>\n <li>Oversee and mentor accounting team members, providing coaching, goal setting, performance feedback, and career development.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Corporate Accounting & Adhoc Projects </strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Assist with monthly/quarterly close activities, including reviewing journal entries and reconciliations related to stock-based compensation.</li>\n <li>Drive process improvement initiatives to streamline close and reporting workflows, with a focus on automation, AI-enabled solutions, and enhanced controls.</li>\n <li>Ensure robust documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and controls to meet SOX and audit requirements.</li>\n <li>Support special projects and ad hoc analysis, including M&A integration.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What it takes to succeed:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.</li>\n <li>6–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a public company SEC reporting role or with a Big 4 public accounting firm.</li>\n <li>Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC rules; experience with Workiva is preferred.</li>\n <li>Proven ability to drive process improvement and leverage automation tools or AI within accounting or finance functions; experience with Oracle is a plus.</li>\n <li>Strong skills in developing, maintaining, and improving accounting documentation and policy materials.</li>\n <li>Detail-oriented and process-minded, with strong analytical skills to break down complex problems and implement scalable solutions.</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to partner across multidisciplinary teams and varying levels of staff to deliver results.</li>\n <li>Effective at delegating, mentoring, and supporting a team-oriented culture focused on process excellence and continuous improvement.</li>\n <li>Self-starter who thrives with minimal direction in a fast-paced, changing environment and embraces new technology and innovation.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>What you'll get:</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Effective your first day: Full medical, vision, and dental </li>\n <li>15 days PTO (accrual begins on date of hire and increases with 2+ years of tenure thereafter), 12 paid holidays, plus one floating holiday</li>\n <li>Up to 14 weeks of parental leave</li>\n <li>Monthly wellness subsidy</li>\n <li>Work from home reimbursement</li>\n <li>Flexible spending account</li>\n <li>401(k) retirement savings plan</li>\n <li>Employee stock purchase plan</li>\n <li>Compensation range for this position is $118,000 - $199,000 annually.
