If you are a CMT Technician in or around <strong>Moore</strong><strong>, OK&nbsp;</strong>that aligns with our values, we would love you to continue reading and apply.</p><p>CMT Technician is responsible for performing field and laboratory tests on construction materials to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. This role supports environmental, engineering, and construction projects by providing accurate test and inspection data, maintaining equipment, and preparing detailed reports. The technician will work collaboratively with engineering staff, contractors, and clients to ensure quality and safety on construction sites.</p><p><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Perform field &amp; laboratory tests according to prescribed procedures and standards.</li><li>Collect soil and concrete samples, prepare samples for testing, record data, and prepare summary reports.</li><li>Use specialized equipment and apparatus to prepare reports and technical data.</li><li>Operate computer systems and peripheral equipment; maintain results log.</li><li>Set up, maintain, and calibrate equipment.</li><li>Confer with Engineering staff on test efforts.</li><li>Inspect construction activities on heavy highway construction projects.</li><li>Monitor work performed by contractors or vendors.</li><li>Ensure materials used on projects meet specifications.</li><li>Inspect common, unclassified and roadway excavation, embankment, borrow pits, and removal, storage, and placement of topsoil.</li><li>Complete appropriate forms and paperwork for construction activities completed each day.</li><li>Maintain considerable contact with clients, subcontractors, and vendors.</li><li>Work with other task team members and leaders.</li><li>Moves a case weighing up to 95 pounds.</li><li>Pushes up to 250 pounds in a wheelbarrow.</li><li>Remains in a stationary position for extended periods.</li><li>Operates tools requiring fine motor skills.</li><li>Traverses construction sites having uneven terrain, slopes, confined spaces, or reinforced trenches.</li><li>Positions self to access tools and materials in various locations.</li><li>Conducts visual assessments of construction quality and safety.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>Experience and/or certifications related to construction inspection or construction materials testing preferred but not required.</li></ul><p><strong>Licenses/Certifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Possession of a valid driver&rsquo;s license with a clean driving record and the ability to operate a motor vehicle is required.</li><li>Must pass background check and drug screening.</li><li>ODOT and/or ACI Certification preferred but not required.</li><li>Ability to operate computer systems and peripheral equipment.</li></ul><p><strong>Location:</strong></p><ul><li>Field &amp; lab assignments may require travel and/or work to be performed on site.</li><li>Ability to work nights and weekends.</li></ul><p data-pasted=\"true\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\"><strong>Who We Are:</strong>&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: 14px;\">WSB is a design and consulting firm specializing in engineering, community planning, environmental, and construction services.
