    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p>Drivers will be responsible for facilitating local deliveries primarily to customers.</p><p>Essential Functions:</p><p>&bull; Preforms pre and post trip inspections on Company truck.</p><p>&bull; Checks fluids, adds fuel to vehicles as needed.</p><p>&bull; Delivers local orders in Company truck to customers on daily route assigned by dispatch. Deliveries are made to business, residential and construction sites.</p><p>&bull; Confirms delivery times with customers and exhibits excellent customer service.</p><p>&bull; Stages ordered items at end of truck for customer to off load, assist with unloading of plant material when safe to do so.</p><p>&bull; General care for the nursery grounds, keeping the nursery clean, organized, and safe for employees, customers, and vendors.</p><p>&bull; General care for nursery stock (plants), ensures plants are watered, handled with care, and are placed in the appropriate location.</p><p>Additional Tasks:</p><p>&bull; Performs minor repairs and maintenance on vehicles if needed.</p><p>&bull; Assists loading department with loading customer orders onto company delivery trucks.</p><p>&bull; May assist in other nursery departments as needed.</p><p>&bull; Duties are subject to change at any time per management&rsquo;s discretion.</p><p>Job Specifications:</p><p>Constantly works in outdoor weather conditions on uneven ground surfaces. Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) more than 50-90% of the time. Frequent twisting, turning, and bending at the waist will be required.</p><p>Lifting requirements: Up to 50 lbs. 25% of the time. Up to 100 lbs. 15% of the time (team lift required).</p><p>Hand movement: Gross grasping for moving plant material. Operation of delivery truck 50-80% of the time.</p><p>All drivers must have a valid driver&rsquo;s license and qualify to be insured by our auto insurance carrier. Additional driving eligibility requirements are listed in our Fleet Policy.</p><p data-pasted=\"true\">E-Verify Participation:</p><p>Devil Mountain Wholesale Nursery participates in E-Verify.
