The Audi Service team members at Audi Seattle are hard-working and fun-loving. The Automotive Technician will work closely with the Service Manager and the rest of the Audi Service team.</p><p>Any job offer will be conditioned on passing a drug test for the following substances: Benzodiazepines, Barbiturates, Methadone, Propoxyphene, Cocaine, Heroin, Codeine, Morphine, Amphetamines, PCP. <strong>We do not test for marijuana or THC.</strong></p><p><strong><u>Responsibilities:</u></strong></p><ul><li>Completes&nbsp;service&nbsp;and&nbsp;repair&nbsp;assignments&nbsp;correctly&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;specified&nbsp;time&nbsp;frame,&nbsp;ensuring&nbsp;repairs pass&nbsp;quality&nbsp;inspections and&nbsp;test&nbsp;drives.</li><li>Diagnoses and corrects mechanical and electrical problems in accordance with manufacturer&nbsp;specifications.</li><li>Explain&nbsp;technical&nbsp;diagnoses&nbsp;and&nbsp;needed&nbsp;repairs&nbsp;to&nbsp;non-technical&nbsp;individuals&nbsp;which&nbsp;may include other teammates and&nbsp;customers&nbsp;as&nbsp;required.</li><li>Uses&nbsp;manuals,&nbsp;computers&nbsp;systems,&nbsp;and&nbsp;technical&nbsp;bulletins&nbsp;to&nbsp;complete&nbsp;the&nbsp;repair&nbsp;order.</li><li>Stays up to date on the latest technical services and all information pertinent (i.e., dealership policies and procedures) to the Automotive Technician position through trainings, bulletins,&nbsp;campaigns,&nbsp;etc.</li><li>Maintains a clean and well-organized work area; performs preventative maintenance, cleaning,&nbsp;and&nbsp;repairs on&nbsp;dealership&nbsp;tools&nbsp;and&nbsp;equipment.</li><li>Always maintains safe working practices and abides by working rules and standards; follows all hazardous waste&nbsp;and&nbsp;OSHA&nbsp;safety&nbsp;regulations and&nbsp;company&nbsp;policies.</li><li>Coordinates with parts department to ensure parts are available to complete repair; properly disposes&nbsp;of used&nbsp;parts&nbsp;and&nbsp;returns&nbsp;unused&nbsp;parts&nbsp;to the&nbsp;parts&nbsp;person&nbsp;or location.</li><li>Promotes the dealership by always presenting a professional image and positive attitude; demonstrates commitment&nbsp;to&nbsp;other staff,&nbsp;customers,&nbsp;dealership,&nbsp;and&nbsp;company.</li><li>Works collaboratively with internal and external customers/provides technical assistance and support to&nbsp;team&nbsp;members&nbsp;as needed.</li><li>Expected to complete and maintain factory certification and factory trainings as directed and in the timeframe established by their direct supervisor.</li></ul><p><strong><u>Requirements:</u></strong></p><ul><li>One year experience in the automotive repair industry as a technician or mechanic is preferred. <strong>&ndash; Hiring Immediately!</strong></li><li>ASE&nbsp;and brand certifications are a plus.</li><li>High school diploma or GED required.</li><li>Possess&nbsp;or&nbsp;be&nbsp;willing&nbsp;to&nbsp;purchase&nbsp;your&nbsp;own&nbsp;tools.</li><li>Attention to detail, organization, and communication skills are essential to a successful technician.</li><li>Be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver&#39;s license.</li></ul><p>Audi Seattle offers a success-focused, family environment, and a competitive benefits package.</p><p>All full-time employees of Freeway Motors, Inc. are eligible for our comprehensive benefits package which includes: Company subsidized Health, Dental, and Vision insurance; fully subsidized EAP, LTD, Life, and AD&amp;D insurance; 401k with company match; starting 96 hours per year of PTO; Paid company holidays.</p><p><u>Who&nbsp;is&nbsp;encouraged&nbsp;to&nbsp;apply?</u></p><p>We love to find people who are driven and motivated!
