    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>i3 is seeking a Structures Engineer to join our team and support a critical government program office by providing technical oversight of OEM structural testing activities and ensuring the integrity, compliance, and airworthiness of advanced aerospace systems.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>As a Structures Engineer, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide technical oversight and evaluation of OEM structural test plans, procedures, and schedules to ensure compliance with government requirements</li>\n <li>Analyze structural test data and independently assess results, preparing briefings, reports, and risk assessments for program leadership</li>\n <li>Collaborate with government engineers, OEMs, and cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to resolve technical challenges and ensure program alignment</li>\n <li>Develop and review technical documentation including test evaluations, system procedures, and engineering assessments</li>\n <li>Support structural testing activities by witnessing static, dynamic, and fatigue tests and ensuring adherence to approved methodologies</li>\n <li>Engage with stakeholders and leadership through technical working groups, providing subject matter expertise and guidance on structural systems</li>\n <li>Identify technical risks related to airframe structures and develop mitigation strategies to support program execution and airworthiness certification</li>\n <li>Support program execution through planning, coordination, and Earned Value Management (EVM) responsibilities as a control account manager</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Additional years of experience may be substituted for degree.</li>\n <li>5+ years of relevant experience in aerospace structural engineering or related field.</li>\n <li>Experience supporting structural analysis, test evaluation, and airworthiness or certification activities.</li>\n <li>Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li>\n <li>Experience working in DoD, federal, or aerospace engineering environments.</li>\n <li>U.S. Citizenship.</li>\n <li>Secret clearance required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p>Preferred Qualifications</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Experience supporting DoD or Federal programs, particularly Army or aviation programs.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools and structural analysis methods.</li>\n <li>Experience working with cross-functional teams, OEMs, and government stakeholders.</li>\n <li>Strong technical documentation, briefing, and reporting experience.</li>\n <li>Familiarity with systems engineering, airworthiness certification, and structural test methodologies.</li>\n <li>Advanced degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering or related field; experience with MBSE tools (e.g., 3DX) preferred.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Knowledge/Skills:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of office administration and procedures.</li>\n <li>Exceptional judgment capabilities and relationship management skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication, teamwork, and client service skills; ability to clearly communicate in discussions and written documents, and to deliver feedback clearly and tactfully.</li>\n <li>Interact with a diverse array of customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner.</li>\n <li>Work independently with accountability for accurate and complete results.</li>\n <li>Be extremely organized and exceptionally detail oriented.</li>\n <li>Work well both independently and in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Be energized by a fast-paced work environment.</li>\n <li>Must be able to communicate with others effectively.</li>\n <li>Analyze information and respond appropriately.</li>\n <li>Manage time wisely and prioritize tasks.</li>\n <li>Provide superior customer service. </li>\n <li>Multi-task in a pleasant manner.</li>\n <li>Work well under pressure.</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Physical Demands:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</li>\n <li>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
