    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p></p>\n<p><strong>About Us:</strong> </p>\n<p>EP Design Services is part of a leading real estate development firm specializing in multifamily, mixed-use, residential, retail, and commercial development.</p>\n<p>Candidate will work full-time in our creative office located in <strong>Piscataway, NJ.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>5-10 years previous experience</strong></p>\n<p><strong>All resumes must include a cover letter</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Are you an independent thinker who enjoys a fast paced and dynamic workplace where you can contribute to the design and production of residential and commercial architecture?</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p>We are seeking a skilled <strong>Architectural Staff</strong> member with 5–10 years of experience to join our integrated architecture and development team focused on multi-family and commercial projects based in New Jersey. </p>\n<p>This role involves leading design and documentation efforts, coordinating with consultants and in-house development teams, and supporting projects through all phases from concept to construction.</p>\n<p> The ideal candidate brings strong Revit skills, knowledge of local codes and zoning, and a practical understanding of how design decisions impact constructability and development goals. </p>\n<p>This is a hands-on, mid-level role with opportunities for leadership, cross-disciplinary collaboration, and professional growth. Licensure is preferred but not required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Lead design and documentation efforts on multi-family, mixed-use, and commercial projects from concept design through construction administration.</li>\n <li>Work directly with in-house development teams to interpret project goals, budgets, and pro forma into viable architectural solutions.</li>\n <li>Manage zoning and code analyses; prepare regulatory submittals, including for site plan approvals, planning boards, and building permits.</li>\n <li>Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal construction teams to ensure design intent is realized efficiently and accurately.</li>\n <li>Develop and oversee production of schematic design, design development, and construction documentation sets using Revit and other BIM tools.</li>\n <li>Lead the integration of architectural design with structural, MEP, civil, and landscape disciplines to ensure complete and coordinated documents.</li>\n <li>Attend and lead internal meetings and site visits; serve as a liaison between architecture, development, and construction teams.</li>\n <li>Review and respond to RFIs, shop drawings, and submittals during construction; help troubleshoot field conditions with pragmatic, buildable solutions.</li>\n <li>Mentor junior team members, reviewing drawings and modeling work for accuracy and completeness.</li>\n <li>Contribute to design quality, project delivery standards, and process improvements within the architecture team.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Professional degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program</li>\n <li>5–10 years of professional architectural experience, with a strong portfolio of multi-family residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.</li>\n <li>Advanced proficiency in Revit is required; familiarity with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and rendering tools preferred.</li>\n <li>Licensure preferred (or on path to licensure)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>In return, we offer competitive compensation, along with comprehensive benefits, including medical and dental and vision benefits,</p>\n<p> life insurance, a 401(k) with company match and a corporate team environment with opportunity of advancement.
