Ideal candidates will have both mechanical and electrical maintenance skills and a strong sense of responsibility in a safety-sensitive environment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Job Functions</strong></p><p>· Perform <strong>preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance</strong> on wire and cable production equipment.&nbsp;</p><p>· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.&nbsp;</p><p>· Support production by ensuring minimal equipment downtime and fast response to breakdowns.&nbsp;</p><p>· Diagnose faults using schematics, PLC interfaces, multimeters, and control systems.&nbsp;</p><p>· Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and safety improvements.&nbsp;</p><p>· Maintain accurate logs, work orders, and documentation.&nbsp;</p><p>· Follow safety procedures and support a clean and organized work environment.&nbsp;</p><p>· Collaborate with other departments, including production and engineering, to resolve issues efficiently.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>The essential functions of this job require working within a production facility with exposure to various noise levels from machinery and equipment.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Physical Demands</strong></p><p>This is an active role as the employee will work in a manufacturing environment. &nbsp;While performing the essential functions of the job the employee will be required to stand, balance or walk on a consistent basis during a 12-hour shift and may on a frequent basis be required to twist, turn, stoop, squat, kneel, bend or reach. &nbsp;The employee must use safe lifting techniques when lifting objects up to 50 pounds and carry out repetitive hand/wrist movements to include forearm rotation. Specific vision abilities required for the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. &nbsp;The employee is frequently required to listen and speak and use their hands to maintain equipment.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Work Schedule</strong></p><p>Our facility operates 24/7.
