Aldridge Pite is dedicated to providing best-in-class representation across all of its Practice Areas through its unwavering subscription to three fundamental tenets: Partnership, Integrity, and Innovation.</p><p>&nbsp;<strong>Purpose</strong></p><p><strong>&nbsp;The Contested Paralegal - Remote&nbsp;</strong>will provide paralegal&nbsp;support to attorney assigned to contested Florida foreclosure files.</p><p><strong>Specific Duties, Activities and Responsibilities</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Monitor and respond to client requests via designated client email boxes (i.e. BOASTATUS BOX)</li><li>Prepare estimated case fee budget (i.e. CATS) and liaison with billing team to resolve non-budgeted fee issues.</li><li>Monitor mail queue and alert attorney of any urgent matters identified via mail queue.</li><li>Monitor internal emails and external emails from clients/opposing counsels and respond accordingly.</li><li>Open/complete cascades in PHX relating to file movement.</li><li>Maintain current dockets in all assigned files.</li><li>Prepare draft pleadings, notices and orders for attorney review.</li><li>Monitor and prepare timely draft responses to discovery.</li><li>Assist attorney with communication of client settlement offers to opposing counsels.</li><li>Liaison with client for final execution of Cash For Keys &ndash; Settlement and Release Agreements</li><li>Monitor telephone messages and returning all calls in a timely manner.</li><li>Ability to review dockets and interpret case status.</li><li>Run respective File movement reports (i.e. disco report, drops &amp; defaults) and interpret required actions to facilitate file movement.</li><li>Respond to internal and client driven status reports.</li><li>Respond to monthly client score cards as needed.</li><li>Assist with other duties and special projects as needed.&nbsp;</li></ul><p><strong>Job Requirements</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum high school.
