This role involves scheduling and performing calibrations, troubleshooting instrumentation issues, and maintaining detailed calibration records. The technician will work with both analog and digital equipment, including but not limited to gauges, transducers, temperature and humidity sensors, calipers, micrometers, top-loading balances, and floor scales. Additionally, this role requires coordination with external vendors to ensure timely calibration of designated equipment by certified laboratories.</span></p>\n<p><br><span><strong>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>Complete calibration certificates in an orderly and neat manner</span></li>\n <li><span>Review calibration data ensuring the accuracy of calibration, dates, and completeness</span></li>\n <li><span>Use computers to enter calibration data and other calibration software tasks</span></li>\n <li><span>Communication of instrumentation problems with user/ Management</span></li>\n <li><span>Troubleshoot and make minor repairs to instrumentation</span></li>\n <li><span>Capable of calibrating major systems with supervision</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain accurate and current M&amp;TE procedures and documentation</span></li>\n <li><span>Coordinates with vendors on a regular basis to have M&amp;TE calibrated by designated labaorities bases on individual M&amp;TE requirements&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Read/interpret SOPs to ensure compliance&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Maintain up to date trainings&nbsp;</span></li>\n <li><span>Other duties as assigned</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><span><strong>Education and/or Experience:&nbsp;</strong></span></p>\n<ul>\n <li><span>High school diploma or general education degree (GED)</span></li>\n <li><span>Minimum of one (1) years metrology technician or related work experience</span></li>\n <li><span>Assocaite degree in Electronics, Engineering Technology, or related field, preferred</span></li>\n <li><span>Technical training with three (3) years experience in calibration, instrumentation, or electronic troubleshooting, preferred</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span><strong>Supervisory Responsibilities:</strong> This role does not have supervisory responsibilities.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Language Skills:</strong> Ability to read and interpret documents such as, but not limited to, safety instructions, standard operating procedures, policies, and manuals. Ability to write clearly and communicate effectively.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Mathematical Skills:</strong> Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals and percentages. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.&nbsp;</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>Reasoning Ability</strong>: Ability to demonstrate understanding and effective application of written and oral instruction.</span></p>\n<p><span><strong>&nbsp;Computer Skills:</strong> Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Personal protective equipment (nitrile gloves, clean room socks, face-shields, safety glasses, aprons, steel-toed shoes and powered air purifying respirators) is necessary, depending upon the task at hand.
