    "description": "<p><span>General Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Maintain adequate stock levels, organization and cleanliness of merchandise on sales</span><br><span>floor and participate in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.</span></li>\n<li><span>Operate cash register and credit card machine.</span></li>\n<li><span>Promote positive customer<br>interactions and assist with resolving customer complaints.</span></li>\n<li><span>Walk sales floor regularly, talking and assisting customers with shopping needs.</span><br><span><br></span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</span><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Ensure organization and cleanliness of stock on the sales floor and in backroom.</span></li>\n<li><span>Stock merchandise on the sales floor and assist with setting up and taking down special </span><span>promotions, displays and events.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist in making sure stock is properly rotated and that aged stock is taken off floor for </span><span>disposal.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with quality control of incoming donations and distribute merchandise to </span><span>designated departments.</span></li>\n<li><span>Price donated materials, as assigned.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ensure safety and cleanliness of work area, sales floor, and outside entrances: shovel, </span><span>sweep, dust, empty garbage, break down boxes.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist in supporting new hires and volunteers.</span></li>\n<li><span>Assist with sorting textile donations into designated areas.</span></li>\n<li><span>Efficient processing of donations and stocking the sales floor.</span></li>\n<li><span>Ensure standards for quality, customer service, and health and safety are met.</span></li>\n<li><span>Perform other duties as assigned.</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span>Physical Demands</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\">While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to;<br>stand, sit, walk, use </span></span><span>hands to handle and/or reach with hands and arms.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span>The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.</span></span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span><br>Additional Requirements</span></span><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><br></span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span>Understand the importance of daily work attendance, and its impact on coworkers, customers, and the agency.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span>Participate in personal and professional development activities, including staff meetings, conferences, training opportunities, as identified and approved by supervisor.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span>Must have strong communication and organizational skills.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span>Must be self-directed and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span>Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license is preferred.</span></span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 16px\"><span>Complete additional certification as required.</span></span></li>\n<li><span>Successfully complete Criminal History and Child Abuse/Neglect clearance procedures at time of hire and when requested.</span></li>\n<li><span>Must comply with Agency tobacco free and drug free policies.</span></li>\n</ul>",
